Shocking, we made them look like Brazil and a good Brazil at that.
They could easily have won 5- 0 and no complaints had they, we looked slow and weak like a team that had been out on the piss the night before.
We weren't even third best and I am normally positive.5 -

Bowyer is obsessed with the next game rather than focussing on this one. Substitutions dead on 60 minutes, taking off players due to minutes played rather than performance. So predictable.Mk would have known that aneke was coming on for bogle after an hour! Mix it up Lee, stop being so predictable7

No reason Williams/Maddison/Shinnie/Morgan can't play like Fraser tonight if we had a manager that encourages attacking football instead of Pratley and Watson playing 2 yard passes to each other all night.9

4 points from 4 games is pretty shit and we've got another 'lesser' side coming up on Saturday which worries me already.
Only bright spot of the night, Millwall lost to an injury time goal away at Blackburn.

Maddison the only one to cause them any problems,dont know how old Lewington is but several times he has run 50 yards with the ball unchallenged,never got to grips with their attacks down our right hand side,an alarming lack of pace up front and midfield,this really was poor.7

What I don't understand is we had 2 left-footed central defenders on the bench tonight. Pearce for the 3rd or 4th time.
If they're not fit to play 90 minutes why have both on the bench?
If one of them is fit to play, why on earth start Pratley again in defence?

Many fans will be doom and gloom because apparently other sides can never play well and it's because we are awful.
Where as I think MK Dons were just very good tonight. I can't remember a team moving the ball that fluid and quickly since Brentford played at the Valley last season.
My only worry, and it's a constant thing with Bowyer sides is we looked so poor in possession tonight. But I think it's a rigid tactical thing over player ability. The only way we were going to combat MK Dons tonight was by moving the ball quicker and better than them, but we are so always so rigid and lack movement.
Also not sure why Maddison got any pelters from anyone tonight, he was the only player he looked to make things happen and put them on the back foot. He may be trigger happy but he put in 4 dangerous balls at the backend of that game that nearly got converted.7 -

Very very disappointing & quite pleased we're not waiting our turn to exit The Valley & trudge morosely back to the car.
Too many injuries ? But that's nothing new & not really an excuse, surely?
Just didn't look to be at the races from kick off to final whistle apart from a few decent moves with Maddison involved.
Will be interesting to hear Bow's reflections on the game.

2nd best, didn't deserve anything. From what I've seen this season we're quite laborious going forward. Doesn't seem fluid, missing some pace in the side especially from Doughty.

Lost before the off. Somebody said pre-match they’ll boss the midfield if we play a diamond...if fans know that Bowyer must. He needs to hold his hands up to that. We’re chasing games from the start because we’re constantly re-adjusting. Often it works, but we’ve been lucky. I like LB, but I’d be very surprised if he ever manages in the premier league.

As I said in the match thread, they were a CF away from a comfortable win. They played us off the park. What did we do wrong that other teams didn’t?
Well, their high percentage of possession in previous games has potentially been because teams pack the midfield and prevent passes between the lines. Therefore most of there passes were across the back. We tried to high press then when that got worked out, they came at us at will. Half hearted tackles and dangling legs. I lost count the amount of times we just let them stroll past. It was ‘only a matter of time’. Poor performances across the team, our inconsistency will cost us along with our inability to control teams below us.8 -

MK didn’t just beat us, they looked like a team 1 or 2 divisions above us for the majority of the game. 3-0 wouldn’t have been an unfair result.I admire your optimism but sometimes you have to critical.
