    I was thinking that the rain has been hammering down all night. 
    The pitch hasn’t looked to great past few games. 
    I guess today we will see how good that work RD had done was........

    I'm leaving it until at least 1pm to buy Valley Pass, just in case it's postponed.

    And if it goes ahead and we're losing 0-3 at half time, I'm expecting Jacko to come on with a few water bottles to help out.

    If our record against the Spanners is so impossible to break then there must be some karma due the team that maintains Pompey’s dismal run against Charlton.

    He can’t drop Matthews. The bloke is our best defending defender. 

    Would like to see Aneke and Stockley up top together. 
    Their Danish centre back Nicolaisen is a bit lightweight. Won’t fancy those two smashing him.

    Haven't been impressed with Nicolaisen when I've seen him . Could be an interesting contest with his old teammate Schwartz.

    Completely out there but because of no Washington, no smyth and a tired Schwartz.

    I think he’ll play Millar off the striker (Stockley)

    Not my preference but needs must sometimes

    I would like to see more of our player's names spelt with two vowels in the middle to give us more of a Dutch cum continental feel which could improve our performance on the pitch:

    Is it still raining in London. I'm in Norwich where it's dry and windy. Fairly sure it will be called off due to second inspection at 2 unless it dry now
