Including the result, so maybe call it offEveshamAddick said:
And that really was terrible.Karim_myBagheri said:doesn't look any worse as that Peterborough pitch we had to play on the other week1 -
And no Tuesday game to look forward to this week either.stoneroses19 said:
More so than ever, the thought of Charlton on a Saturday has been getting me through the latter days of the week.se9addick said:
Yeah it’s really depressing but this was going to be the highlight of my weekend.Dazzler21 said:Football is the only relief from the constant feeling of imprisonment caused by lockdown after lockdown.
I've played on worse pitches.
please be on, please be on, please be on, please be on0 -
In that video there are no ground staff working on the pitch , it looks like they have given up0

I fully agree with this. We are already well ahead in games played, so if this is called off we will at least have the opportunity to get more players fit and hopefully will play the game when the pitch will be in much better shape.RC_CAFC said:Not the end of the world if it is. A week to get Famewo, Watson, Shinnie, Maatsen and Washington fitter. Inniss a week closer. A week for Stockley to get more used to the squad. It won’t be the better football team that wins today’s game if it goes ahead.2 -
There’s an unusual number of 3pm kick offs in the Prem today as a small consolation

Agree. That's a pretty decent looking pitch, bit of water on the touchline and scoreboard corner, but otherwise looks pretty decent.Leeds_Addick said:2 -

If postponing means the pitch stays in decent nick for the rest of the season, then call it offLeuth said:

Can’t they just get our groundsman bitches from Doncaster to sort it?4

The pitch has looked shit this year
I suppose lack of time for recovery /re seeding or whatever they do must be the cause0 -
Lots of Premier League and Championship pitches look terrible because of that, Leeds wanted to rip up the one at Elland Road but didn’t have time for exampleoohaahmortimer said:The pitch has looked shit this year

Common sense for us as a club would surely be to postpone for a week or more. Disappointing for us fans as we want to watch a game.Leuth said:

Call it off you can clearly see that there is a puddle just off the pitch.
