Not the end of the world if it is. A week to get Famewo, Watson, Shinnie, Maatsen and Washington fitter. Inniss a week closer. A week for Stockley to get more used to the squad. It won’t be the better football team that wins today’s game if it goes ahead.
I fully agree with this. We are already well ahead in games played, so if this is called off we will at least have the opportunity to get more players fit and hopefully will play the game when the pitch will be in much better shape.
Seeing as there are no fans to factor in, why can't the game be played an hour later? BBC forecast says heavy rain until 3pm then light rain from then on getting dryer.

Common sense? Can't be having that
If postponing means the pitch stays in decent nick for the rest of the season, then call it off
The pitch has looked shit this year I suppose lack of time for recovery /re seeding or whatever they do must be the cause
Lots of Premier League and Championship pitches look terrible because of that, Leeds wanted to rip up the one at Elland Road but didn’t have time for example

Common sense for us as a club would surely be to postpone for a week or more. Disappointing for us fans as we want to watch a game.

I know, pitch inspection @2pm.
I've put the thread up anyway. Damned if I do, damned if i don't.
The poor referee's assistant would get his feet wet,
Confirmed off by the way.
