    Rumour he's gone, think Birmingham.

I’m hearing Bowyer has gone - said goodbye to players today at Sparrows
Mine wasn’t a rumour though - although I could have worded it better 🤔
  • My take & it's purely guesswork.

Bowyer was told some time ago we had to make the playoffs or he would be gone at the end of the season.

Birmingham have come in & he's jumped
Very similar to the Robbo experience. Knew time was coming up and decided to take a new job before he was given the boot.

What happened last time a manager resigned from this club?

    Robinson OUT
    Bowyer IN

    Bowyer OUT
    _______ IN?

Makes sense and he knows from the inside players are just not good enough and will let him down and before his stock falls and is sacked has gone to a club where he is adored

    Wilder and Howe.

People can't seriously think either of those would come to us can they?

"Hi is that Chris Wilder? Did you enjoy two seasons in the Premier League? Brilliant. Listen, next season, fancy sitting on the coach up to Accrington Stanley?"

Wilder no chance, surely. Would be great though
Pearce with a new lease of life as an overlapping CB, flying down the left.
    Would it work? No

    Would it be funny? Absolutely.

Still wouldn’t be worse than Seabourne tbf.

Cawley reporting it's true, he's told the squad he's leaving.

More chance of Deontay Wilder and Don Howe. And Don Howe is dead.

We'll see if it's true or not. I feel like I've gone insane looking at some of the suggestions for replacements though. Howe or Wilder? Two blokes who were most recently managing in the Premier League? Why the hell would they come to Charlton? Because of their deep-seated historical love of the place? Aren't these two managers who we've approached in the past when they were around our level and gave us a FO notice even then? 'Eddie, I know you said no back when you were a L1 manager, but how about joining us now you've proven yourself well above that level for the past 10 years'. Great pitch.
You'll get Appleton and like it.
  • Daniel Stendal would do for me
By far the best one to choose

  • I've wanted him gone since about November if I'm honest, however, I'd love to be able to thank him for what he's done at the club the past two years amid some absolute scandalous ongoings.

    Cheers and good luck.
