That was fun! Deji is rather immense for a 17 year old centre back! Also Albie looks SO much quicker than last year. If this is the style of football we’ll see next year, I like it.4

Imagine Palace and Fulham will largely be defensive displays where we wont have much of the ball1 -

Clayden and Deji 2 may break through but they need to be back up to the main 22 or so rather than part of it. That way there's no expectation for them to fire us to promotion, if they break through it'll be on merit. If either are one of four 'senior' players in their position they'll have to be involved as soon as there's an injury or suspension. That would put huge pressure on them to perform. Deji 2 especially is still very young and plays a position where consistency is vital.5

Agree, also Welling players in our half are as rare as hens teeth, mainly due to our dominance but they should at least give it a go, be interesting to see how the second half line up does.Dazzler21 said:Just temper those expectations chaps.
