For those moaning about the leaking of lineups, we're playing Steve Evans' Gillingham, not some tactical mastermind, i doubt it will make a blind bit of difference.
Southgate's England teams were leaked by our press a day before every single Euro match and i'm quite sure it had no effect on the outcomes at all.1 -

If it was correct yesterday I bet it wont be by 6.45pm. I'll be just pulling into Gillingham station then so will be interested to see if Adkins has got a 2nd wind & decided to change it.1 -

That's 5 mins by car. Walking from there would probably take you 15 mins......mostly uphill. Whenever we've gone by car we've parked the river side of the train line, in one of the side roads on the right as you look at that map.ForeverAddickted said:

You've then got about a 5min / 0.9mile walk up to the Ground itself
This year, like the last one we were allowed to go to, we are going by train. 33 mins direct from Swanley. If things start getting even worse I might have to start supporting the Gills as it's a bloody lot easier to get to.1 -

If Evans has watched any of our recent outings he'll realise it doesn't make any difference what our starting 11 is.2

Why are we arguing about who starts then. Atkins has got it right. Pick two sides - one for Saturday and one for Tuesday so players are not tired and avoid picking up unnecessary injuries. All conspiracy theory aside he has consistently indicated managing players fitness is still an issue so it will be a different team regardless (as it needs to be).

These miss the point. Regardless of what you think of Adkins, how would you like it if it was someone in your place of work leaking confidential stuff relating to your role? Of course, it’s only Gillingham and I doubt very much them knowing our team will do much to alter the result (it may help Gillingham though). As for transfers, you’re conflating two separate issues. Leaks and insights into possible players coming in/out is very much part of the business of transfers. Letting the public know of likely team line ups 24 hours ahead of a game is taking the piss with an obligation/professional duty of care whoever is in the know signs up for, when they are employed by Charlton.
