Scouring the Plymouth forums they seem to think he did and ok and were hoping he would re-sign this summer as wellNorth Lower Neil said:Presumably Cawley knows a bit about him?
No idea how he did for Plymouth on loan, anyone?
Position-wise, makes sense, more depth at RB with him & Egbo given Matthews and Gunter thankfully both left, and also at LB if him & one other come in.

It looks like his contract was due to expire this summer so presumably Fulham think he was worth a new contract or was it an optional extra year?jacob_CAFC said:Only got 7 games for Plymouth from Jan til the end of the season, which isn't that impressive0 -
Pleased we are getting the bodies in early. No idea on the quality of the signings so will have to wait for the season to start.Looked back at the team sheet from Sheffield Wednesday on opening day. I made it 16 professionals (Purrington & Gilbey were injured) on the books. Seems we will start the season with close to a full squad numbers wise.3

So a reliable rumour but not on the OS.
22, didn't set the world alight at Plymouth so in Fulham's eyes is this a move to develop a promising youngster or a chance to offload a fringe player we don't think is going to make it down the the Cottage?
Might actually suit us better if it is the latter.
Certainly we need defenders who can play on the left.
What is his contract situation and Where's his video?

He came into a side already in the top 6 was always going to be difficult to move someone out a winning side, he played half the game anyway.jacob_CAFC said:Only got 7 games for Plymouth from Jan til the end of the season, which isn't that impressive0 -
Decent, flexible player who can battle Jacob Roddy for the left back slot.

Just signed an extension with Fulham, primarily a right-back but imaging we're signing him to play either as needed.Henry Irving said:So a reliable rumour but not on the OS.

But Fulham have the option of a further 12-months

Oh no, this isn't a permanent signing? Sack yourself TS8

Cawley said 10 Plymouth games - don't forget they had a really good cup run also.jacob_CAFC said:Only got 7 games for Plymouth from Jan til the end of the season, which isn't that impressive
He only joined them on loan on the 31st January though - so was only there 3 months.

If this happens and he’s injury free, could be a very good signing.1

Just signed a new contract so likely the former, they at least think he's good enough to be worth a fee.Henry Irving said:So a reliable rumour but not on the OS.

How can they be twins if they’re not the same height?addick1956 said:Scoham said:

He played in nine of their last 12 league games (10 appearances total). Not sure where you got seven from.jacob_CAFC said:Only got 7 games for Plymouth from Jan til the end of the season, which isn't that impressive
Plymouth were flying high and he had to be patient but once he broke into the side, he was a regular.7 -
Maybe we’ll play him CB in a back three in the Kyle Walker role.6

Some nice Plymouth responses here.7

Not a dissimilar role to Clare played on Friday.Scoham said:Maybe we’ll play him CB in a back three in the Kyle Walker role.1 -

Anyway, can worry about signing him next summer, or even January, if he's good for us.0 -
Shame he's primarily a Right-Back - Sounds like he could be an ideal player to work with Charlie Kirk going by those tweets1
-
Ok fair enough, i got the 7 from Wikipedia, didn't read Cawley's article3
-
Sounds a really sensible option if he can really play both sides comfortably. With that one year extension it's possibly his big chance now to impress Fulham too so he should certainly be up for it.4

Wiki is a decentish base for judging a player and you have to use it when you’re in league one! But numbers on their own are sometimes meaningless.jacob_CAFC said:Ok fair enough, i got the 7 from Wikipedia, didn't read Cawley's article2 -

Seemingly two right backs in the door where does this leave Clare, unless we really are playing 3 at the back again.0
-
As we saw on Saturday, it looks like we're thinking of the wider picture with regards to Recruitment - In the sense that we'll have the variation within the squad to play multiple positions, where half the starting eleven arent square pegs.BR7_addick said:Seemingly two right backs in the door where does this leave Clare, unless we really are playing 3 at the back again.3 -
That Welsh bloke, Llewelynn whatshisface always liked players who could play in different positions2
