Why do people care if Stockley is injured? A large percentage on here think he is shit and suggested we were playing with 10 men.

Stockley isn't a perfect fit for Garner's system but we're likely a much worse side without him right now, given the alternatives.2 -

Stockley's finishing has been poor this season anywayKinsella87 said:
With a false 9, we would lose any aerial threat, but potentially a more mobile player might create more space for other players0 -

Any chance we could remove this from being a sticky. It's depressing as it is.3

Stop wasting your time then. BG wanted to off load him like the previous 2 managers he's not good enoughAddick_8 said:

Have you actually watched DJ play?Addick_8 said:At this point, I would honestly play Leaburn or Jaiyesimi upfront Saturday if Stockley is out. Jaiyesimi played up tops against us for Swindon I think.1 -
If we're going to get desperate enough to try converting a winger to a centre forward, then DJ is the one to try. There's a tiny, tiny chance that there is a pound shop Michail Antonio hiding inside DJ - I don't see any centre forward traits in CBT or Kirk. Plan a), if Stockley is unavailable, has to be give Leaburn a chance though.3

Have to ask yourself why Wimbledon, Crewe and Reading have all let me go in fairly quick order. Hope he proves me wrong but looks like a desperation signing.cfgs said:

definition of desperation signing, no other real viable cheap option, was basically him or nothing, still hope he does well mindCardinal Sin said:

It is a bit but if it allows Clare to continue at RB while Egbo is out, then it makes a lot of sense. It also allows Elewere to properly get his teeth into his season at Wealdstone rather than sit on our bench/play occasionally.Cardinal Sin said:

doesn't change the fact its a desperation signing, we are desperate for a CB, and have no other options lolRedrobo said:

The tweets I shared in the other thread show he perhaps wasn’t happy at Crewe for whatever reason.
Reading as a Championship club signed him for a couple of months as cover. They then brought in Sarr this summer which shows they were shopping in a completely different market.
Not saying it’ll work out for us but he was doing well for Wimbledon at this level which gives him a chance.7 -

I won’t, I’ll be annoyed because I’m a charlton fan who wants us to do well.golfaddick said:

We desperately need Chuks back to avoid this being another wasted season.

In that photo he looks like someone who’s farted in a lift and someone else got the blame2

I don’t believe he was and having seen him play as a youngster I think he could do well for us and he is only 26.IR94 said:

I do understand that you may not want to see anything positive with the Club, but at least give the lad a chance.6 -

Fair play Scoham. I was reading from the stats alone and am immediately suspicious because of the disastrous end to the window...Scoham said:

As I keep saying, I want us to do well, but its laughable that we go into a season with just 2 fit strikers & then can't even strengthen on deadline day. We had 4 months to add to the 3 strikers we have......but didnt. No point moaning about it now so I just laugh. The owner thinks this is the way to go so why doubt him.....BR7_addick said:

Some of Sandgaard's outrageous statements are more believable than this!golfaddick said:

So if/once we get the forward in on a free transfer, that will be the class of 22/23 confirmed.

I know there’s a couple of youngsters like Henry, Clayden and Ness on the fringes, but what do we think? Is that a squad capable of promotion?0 -

Unlikely and certainly not with our injury record, but it might keep us close to the play off mix come January, then it is up to TS as to whether he wants to strengthen by actually spending on transfer fees which he didn't do in the last window.cabbles said:So if/once we get the forward in on a free transfer, that will be the class of 22/23 confirmed.

            Striker or two light2
 -
Definitely not a squad good enough for the automatics, our best bet is to be in touch of 6th so that in January we can strengthen IF finances allow.3
 -

So why is virtually everything you post moaning about the situation then? If there is no point moaning about it perhaps you could change the record?golfaddick said:
