    What about our sales numbers?
not all that - too many can't be arsed
  • If it was this week then some fans would have trouble getting there due to the weather conditions, rain strikes & (for me) the freezing fucking temperature.

Next week I believe the temperature is going to rise but probably still be 6°-8° by kick off. No fun sitting out on the open for 2 hours watching us get thrashed.

So now it’s ‘too cold’ to go to football … it gets better …

We are not playing Arsenal, Liverpool or United.
  • "And who is Airman?"

" Airman is Mick Everitt who used to write voice of the Valley and works in the ground."

    This club is so complicated!
    ;-)
And one assumes that Mick Collins and Mick Everitt are related on account of having the same name.
  • The only thing i am left unsure about is how Rick Collins fits into things.

No issues with anyone who doesn't go for whatever reason, it's just the way some wear their non attendance like a badge of honour. It's odd.
Previously we've even had a few people wanting us to lose too.

Yes,  we played southend at home near the end of the season in 2017 and we were midtable going nowhere and southend were battling with the scum for the last play off spot ....
we beat them 2-1 and they missed out on the play offs by one point to the scum 4 games later ...
scum then win the play offs and are currently in their 6th consecutive season in the Championship when we're all hoping we can survive in League One .

So looking at the bigger picture sometimes wanting us to lose is for the greater good .... although a draw would have sufficed that day

I've bought 4 for this, travelling up from Hove, lots talking about the game in Brighton & Hove.
Going to Toca Soca @ the O2 before the game, anybody tried this?

  • How on earth has this seemed to have developed into a pissing competition?
Because people like to use how often some can attend as a stick to beat them with as not "pwopa charl'un".

Been to Toca Social once, really enjoyed it. It's even funnier if you have at least one person in the group who can't kick or control a ball to save his life.

Maybe tap up the caretaker (sorry. forgot his name already!!) and see if he can send one of the first team over?
