Whether he’s gone, or should go, is one thing but the team selection, tactics, formation, set pieces and fitness levels are all things which could be improved and are the responsibility of the manager.

I never thought I’d be the person to say this, even with all the manager shit we have been through *cough* Karel Fraeye *cough*, and I’m not necessarily upset Holden has gone as to me most managers sound like they are just a variation of a theme and it is what is on the pitch is all I care about.
But if Lee Johnson comes in as manager it stinks and I think I might need a Charlton time out.25 -
Sick of this club. Same shit every season. Fuck them all16

Transfer Window will be much simpler when technical director Andy Scott consults with caretaker manager Andy Scott.37

What a coincidence that Lee Johnson leaves Hibs the same time that Holden gets the sack.0

Another right off of a season, and we are only 5 league games in.11

Edit: by a former Charlton employee:
‘Chief Executive Ben Kensell commented: “The Club has taken the tough decision to relieve Lee Johnson of his duties following a disappointing start to the domestic campaign.”’

Might as well just stick with Holden until xmas.
Can improve the non existent defence and knows how to attack and defend at set pieces we could be miles better off.2 -
It better not be Lee Johnson

That back operation causing him to miss today's City game was just a cover story5 - Sponsored links:

I hope it's not Lee Johnson. Would be a shambolic appointment and I'd rather stick with Holden if that's the case.7

Meet the new boss........same as the old boss
I couldn't wait to see the back of Saangard, but it seems like nothing has really changed5 -
Really really sad if it happens. Dean is one of the good guys.
Who is the person with the authority to hire and fire?
I'm not saying it would be wrong in a results business, but I dunno....
Very worrying times.15 -
If this is true I hope they have someone good ready to go and we don’t end up with a convoluted process which will conclude with some cheap as chips nobody with limited experience and pedigree being appointed in October
