Ot doesn't say how well should cope with it just the number of injuries isn't a "Charlton thing". Sheffield United Chelsea and Palace can hardly blame playing in Europe either.0 -

Michael Appleton has provided a detailed injury update ahead of Saturday's clash against Blackpool at The Valley.
The Head Coach confirmed Panutche Camará is making steady progress in his recovery from a foot injury that has kept him out since mid-August.
"Pan’s definitely progressing, but, given the type of injury that it is, you’ve got to be slow with it unfortunately and you’ve got to give it time," he explained. "The good thing is that he’s got a pair of boots on and he’s been out on the grass for a few days.
"He’s working with the strength and conditioning lads and obviously bridging that gap before going back into full training. He’s still a bit away from that, but, for him, he can probably see a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel now."
Appleton also provided an update on the fitness of Tayo Edun (hamstring), Harry Isted (knee) and Conor McGrandles (knee).
He said: “Tayo’s going to be a good few weeks yet. Harry’s probably looking more weeks instead of months. It could be six weeks or so before we see him, as long as he stays pain-free with the injury because it’s a nasty one.
"The sports science lads have had to put the reins on Conor slightly, just because of a bit of discomfort in the back area of the knee,” added Appleton. “I think’s that quite normal from what I’m hearing and it’s something that they want to settle down, so he may be another couple of weeks or so.”
Meanwhile, Terry Taylor is set to be missing for a period of time with an ankle injury sustained during last weekend’s goalless draw at Shrewsbury Town.
“Terry’s injury doesn’t look like a great one - I think it’s a bad one to the ligaments,” revealed the Head Coach. “From Terry’s point of view, they haven’t put a timeline on anything yet but we’re not going to see him for a while - that’s the long and short of it.

Nice to hear the updates, even if most appear to be mid-term injuries.
@Cafc43v3r, I presume you will be reporting Michael Appleton for breaching medical records?
*there is a tongue in cheek, btw*0 -
Shame about Taylor, feels like his season is following the McGrandles route from last year of starting off and getting injured, playing unfit and not getting much out of it and then getting a bad one. Realistically he's going to struggle to have too much impact this season if our injuries go how they normally do. He was always likely to be Dobson's understudy this season but this isn't a great way to integrate

Taylor's is maybe as a consequence of having an injury towards the end of last season and then not a proper pre season. No point in rushing things, we have cover, maybe Pan back in a month too. Just make sure Taylor recovers properly and see him in the new year.

I'm worried that they've waited two days for a scan. It might be because they're waiting for the swelling to go down, which would not be good.0

Ive just seen a post.Someone said they saw Chuks yesterday and he thought it would be a couple of weeks.0

Apologies I haven't continued to track this, work has been mad and headspace is currently all work no play.0

If he is back in the match-day squad end of november I would take that, when he pulled up I feared i could be a 3-4 month hamstring tear like last time.
I really hope we stop starting him when he does come back, we need to accept he is a super-sub for the last 20-25 mins and st0p trying to start im as everytime he does he is only a couple of games away from an injury.5 -
Do we know how far off Edun is? 3 weeks ago MA said "a good few weeks".0

With the greatest respect to all concerned - breath.not.held
Starting any games has always been a risk for Chuks, expecting him to last 45+ minutes is a triumph of hope over reason.
With Chuks's contribution to the recent turn of forma and the current run of Saturday - Tuesday - Saturday fixtures it was reckless
