Adam Coombes who came on late for CVPM (and scored) had a great season at Welling yesteryear.
Welling broke the bank to cover his wages (rumoured at £750 p/w).
Nice bloke and hope he gets the opportunity of a run out at The Valley.0 -

I really like the bloke and he always tried his best for us, but he's surely neither of those? He's a memorable ex-player, not least because of those goals against Liverpool.
But it's great to see such a brilliant reaction from his lad. As much as some typical arsewipe tries to play it down with "we're all Millwall here", this is a massive game for them and I hope they make bundles out of it.
