Piastri posted another, didn’t look at it too clearly but Zhou and Ocon were in it I’m pretty sure

No Haas drivers and no Aston drivers it seems? and apparently Bottas paid for it.

Hulkenburg next to Perez? in first pic. Sainz is in this one so  Hulkenburg must have took it.
  • Lovely to see Bortoleto (P2) and Hadjar (P4) so close in Quali.

Should make for a brilliant finale in Formula 2 over the weekend

Just watched the Brawn documentary on BBC I Player. Probably as good as anything I have watched this year. It had me hooked.

Yeah, I've watched the 1st 3 episodes and has been brilliant so far. Even my wife who has no interest at all in F1 enjoyed the one she watched with me.

Nice chat between Carlos and Charles at the end of FP3.  Obviously have a great relationship.  Very classy.

What a sensational Q3! McLaren Lockout and sensational laps from Hulkenberg and Bottas.

Hamilton and Leclerc at the very back, one with a point to prove and one with an almost impossible task of outscoring the McLarens, will be very interesting to say the least! A couple on the grid too with nothing to lose really, can see some fireworks during the race!
  • Not a great debut / audition from Doohan, qualifying P20, and now only starting P17 because of penalties.

Especially with Gasly sticking it up in the top 6

Always going to be difficult for Doohan to get close to Gasly, especially on debut... but you'd still expect a lot better

3 place drop for Hulkenberg for overtaking in the tunnel. Starts P7 now

Formula E has been absolute chaos in Sao Paulo. Big shunt for Wehrlein who ended upside down for the second red flag.

Yeah first time I've decided to watch Formula E, think I'll add to the list of Motor Sports to watch, as looked bonkers after the last standing start - Mental how Wehrlein just bounced off the wall.

Would love to see Taylor Barnard win this

Shame for him and the team, I can't see him getting enough points to overtake Alpine

F2 has unfortunately ended up being a damp squib. Hadjar stalled off the line and has gifted the title to Bortoleto.

Me too - but I'm not confident!
Either way it is going to be emotional and I expect some tears from Lewis and Toto.

Probably for the best in the end, finally we'll see the F2 champion actually take a race seat for the very next season!

Reckon we'll see both of them... This is a crazy departure for Hamilton from Mercedes, imagine what its going to be like when he retires!!

I unfortunately had the result spoiled elsewhere as wasnt able to watch it live, so was hoping to see it a bit later - I did actually predict to myself whilst I was out, that Hadjar would stall on the grid and turn it into a nothing event.

Hopefully this is the wake up call for the Series though, as you cant have Championships decided like that, and is hopefully making F2 look bad as a result.

Is the race worth watching as an event regardless?

Or was it typical Abu Dhabi?
  • lol!... Perez is just done now surely?

Piastri’s sarcastic comment as Verstappen hit him was perfect:

”Yep, move of a World Champion, that.”

Max moaning about the 10s penalty - "I was clearly ahead of him". No you was not, you little runt.
