What exactly does DFT offer to this website? People get banned from time to time. Why not this poster?

    So far on this thread:
Referencing the actions of fans of a Scottish club when visiting another Scottish club as evidence of the beliefs of all Irish people
Announcing that Scots are more interested in the England football team than the Scotland one (best selling shirt??)
Claiming to have lived in Ireland despite clealy hating Irish people
Claiming that it's impossible for English people to wear England shirts in Ireland (DFT obviously didn't live in Ireland if that's what he thinks - I've seen loads in my time, not just around rugby matches)

In other threads DFT has brought the discussion back round to sectarian garbage based on some irrelevant rivalry in Scotland, and in one particular comment (which I can't find to hand) he/she expressed a positive opinion towards either the UVF or the UDA (I can't remember which, and I'm not sure it makes a difference)

    So why no banning?

Then by that evidence i would have been hounded out of Sligo in my England top? Funny, i dont recollect that happening. Same as i dont recollect either of the 2 Rangers supporters i work with ever supporting England in anything let alone football. Jeez my memory is shocking!

Just as I predicted Keane 1-0 Ireland last night. Now why Didn't I put any money on that?

Drawing generalisations based on one or two people only works if you hate the generalisation you'll draw.

Why would anyone live in Sligo if they hated Irish people? It just seems a little silly.

Getting back to the start of the thread - it was a handball, that was not spotted.
It was not 'cheating' otherwise everytime someone commits a foul that is not blown up for is also a cheat.

Of course it was cheating. He knowingly controlled the ball with his hand. We're not talking about a miss timed tackle here. What do you consider diving?
  • did anyone ever find out who the shocking commentary was done by?

    Millwall fans. Oh, sorry I forgot............... : - )

All the Scots are Irish really, especially in the 6 counties. Always hoping back and forth every couple of hundred years. All one big happy family really.

    Millwall aren't an English club.

Founded by Scots who worked in a Jam factory.

Wear a Scottish Blue shirt with a Scottish Lion Rampant on their badge and they come from north of the Thames so certainly not English in my book.

So perfectly OK for you to hate them.

[cite]Posted By: Henry Irving[/cite]So who is it that eats dogs? The French, the Irish or the Scots.

    I'm confused

Depends on how hungry I am.

And is there a particular football shirt you have to wear while eating one?

Wouldn't want to offend anyone by having the wrong bit of nylon on

A Bolivian shirt from the 1940's. Nothing else is acceptable.

    Home or away?

The away one of course, everyone has the home kit!

Why are people shocked about the Thierry Henry incident? The French putting their hands up has been a national pastime since 1940.
