I think the clown was me.
Maybe I was wrong regarding season ticket sales but if they don't go up and have to align their expectations to a new reality then I maintain what I said.
They have a stadium they hate. If they lose parachute payments they will leave in their droves.

Looking at the bigger picture and contemplating the ‘rivalry’, West Ham fans meekly accepted their Upton Park betrayal by being promised Unicorns, Millwall fans at least had a reason to accept their loss of their best asset due to it’s crumbling nature, and we didn’t have to pay for the toolbox, but what a chite stadium it is, but at least there you can see the action.
No dog in the fight but on the measure of stadium credibility Millwall edge it.

Do not have any problem with West Ham, a lot of their fans quite like us, probably born of their dislike of the spanners and knowing our rivalry.

I never understand this.

Why would anyone want to sit amongst the West Ham fans? If we score you just have to sit still like a statue and if they score, presumably you have to stand up at least to avoid being "outed " and possibly getting a little slap before being ejected.

Pay a tenner and watch it on Charlton TV and get your mates to come round and watch it with you with a few beers is a much more sensible proposition. 

Myself &  @TelMc32 went with a West Ham mate and sat with him, looking around they seemed a really nice bunch. Anyway we agree we couldn’t stay there and left our mate there. We went down the front and spoke to a steward and he walked us around to the away end. Game stars and we scored after 9 seconds.

I was at that game with a former workmate (from Blackpool but WH was his London team) watched the game in the North Bank had a beer in the Boleyn pub before the game, enjoyed the game/day but not as much as if I'd been in with our crowd.
