Do not lose the game, that is THE most important thing.

If you had any doubt that football supporters are all basically the same, read other clubs’ forums. I’ve been doing it this season and it’s remarkable.
To read Coventry’s match thread against us, even BEFORE the game, you’d think they were in big trouble.
As for Blackburn, it’s abject despair with no hope left. Apparently we’re going to win 19-0.

Have Blackburn got a poster on there saying they should just score more goals and win it 20-19?

A word of warning if anybody booked a room at Hotel Rafay in Blackburn. Cancel your booking asap if you can and book elsewhere.

We turned up last night and staff refused to let us check in. The guy on the desk was bragging about how we wouldn't get our money back either as they didn't care about consumer protection.

Fortunately, we had booked through Airbnb and were given a full refund.
You clearly didn’t read the tripadvisor reviews!!
sounds awful so you got away with one I reckon.

I’ve not checked but my feeling is our record at Ewood Park is ‘not good’.

Only change for me would be Knibbs for Berry. He deserves a chance in his actual position and Carey has been poor for a few weeks now.

No tickets sold on the day according to Blackburn. Too late to sort myself out with tickets.
Yeh it’s a weird decision- can’t buy them today either. 2026.
    It's for two reasons.

    1. To stop home fans from buying tickets in the away end.

    2. They will have planned stewarding and police around the number of away tickets sold and want to discourage several Charlton fans from turning up on the day.

If the odd few Charlton fans show up on the day, Blackburn would probably sell them tickets in the away end.
Why would Blackburn supporters want to buy tickets in the away end, when there are loads of spare seats around the ground?

And it's not as if this is a local derby or a grudge match. This is right near the top of the "two teams with no interest in each other" rankings.

If they don’t have undersoil heating I can’t see how that games gonna happen
Their problem has been with the pitch flooding.
Nothing to do with it freezing.

Saw enough on Saturday to give Knibbs a start over Berry but I'd leave the other 10 as is if Burke and Bell can take it. Feeling positive about this one
    Or Carey, don’t mind which.

We are back in a bit of form. Blackburn not so much. Expect 3 points from this one. Fingers crossed that we have now turned a corner and can expect to start climbing the table again.

@AS1987 are you able to come back with the questions asked regards last night's unfortunate incident?  Your public is awaiting with interest.
  • If they screw up against Blackburn after earning a point against an admittedly out of form Coventry, I will probably say a rude word.

With this not being on sky I'm thinking of trying that fawanews site people having mentioned on here. For those that have used it before would it be likely for this game to be available on there ?
You can get it for a tenner on a VPN, and the money goes to the club

A big round of applause to those that are going. Legends, each and every one 👏👏👏
They deserve praise but ’legends’, seriously?!

considering we've picked up about 5 points out of the last 25 or so available, i feel remarkably optimistic about this game and the rest of the season - we are a totally different proposition when the likes of Bell and Burke are playing and seeing Kelman getting better each week, knowing Godden is on his way back, Ramsey also and some positive news about signings, i'm wondering if its too late for a play off charge  :)

    ’Free hits’ and ’must wins’

Following from my last post, this is even more sensationalist nonsense to be highlighted.

I hope our players don’t have any such ideas.

We need to win this match.

Can’t keep passing up opportunities against the teams around us in the league.

Same Team but Knibbs in for Berry.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Apter instead of Bree but doubt that it will happen.

You would really like to see Apter and Campbell as our 2 wing backs away from home?

Fair Point, as forgot Campbell was the latest player to play there in the last match.

If Ramsay is available then I’d play him instead of Bree tomorrow then.

I imagine after the performance on nyd and only 2 days rest we may well be a bit leggy tomorrow. I'd be happy to see the same team but we may well see a change or 2. This game is certainly winnable but a point on the road is a good point. COYA!
  • Looking forward to tomorrow! 3 points!

You have to love the list of attractions.

I liked that their rooms came with bed linen and towels.  Touch of class right there!! 🤣🤣

Some insightful reviews on this site

    My favourite:
