This to me seems a carbon copy of what happened with Abu Kamara and Pompey, I may be deluded hopefully we can still do the deal once the agent situation is sorted

Makes me wonder if it was even 'On' in the first place.

still not convinced we will see the 'similar to last summer' levels of spend we have been promised.

    all smoke and mirrors.
He was at the training ground the other day?

I doubt he was hunting for autographs

Agents are a joke. What a great agent he’d have if he ends up playing no football for the next 4 months all because the agent will be demanding more money.

That gives me a bit of hope that we’re going fully public on pulling the plug because of the agent to put pressure on him/them saying we won’t be messed around.

I still think there’s a chance this sorts itself on deadline day.

JRS really is Andy Delort 2.0. Wasn't that scuppered by him having 3 agents?

Didn’t we pull the plug on Knibbs last year and then he eventually signed ? Wish he hadn’t admittedly

Round up all the 'ITK' who said he failed a medical and fire them into the sun imo
Just goes to show what bull shitters most people who claim to be ITK are . Cawley is the only one I trust

As I said earlier, players not clubs should pay agents.

To be honest for all the reasons a deal would have broken down I’d much rather it be the agent than others.

Means we know we have money in the bank to sort out the cb crisis and the winger situation

There was definitely one Striker back in the Powell days who had about 10 of the damned things

"This website has been told that a key stumbling block surrounding Rak-Sakyi was in relation to his agent representation. That is believed to be an ongoing dispute." What does it mean?

Does also alert everyone else to idea we have £4m + substantial wages available though

    Ronnie Moore can you confirm?

So ultimately the transfer is still in play and this has been put out to push his agent to reduce his fee?

Expect neither JRS nor Palarse are very happy with the situation and you’d assume JRS holds all the cards here
As it’s stated it’s definitely off . If it could be retrieved I don’t think Cawley would be saying that . We move on

Not really a fair comment to make is it. Stjohn had given us plenty before Rich even mentioned it. Same with Redrobo telling us about Ouma before RC even knew who he was I bet

    Cawley confirming its the agent.

This is very much still a Schrodinger's cat for me.

If they think the agent might bend if they call his bluff, they have to announce the deal is off.
If they don't, then the deal is off and may as well say it.

There is a bit of me that still holds out some hope.

With TC, they can influence Jes to sort out his agent situation. If he is as keen as we think he is for a deal to join us, he may already be minded that way.

It's not over till the bloke in the yellow tie sings and all that.

Cawley says it's related to his agent and it's an ongoing dispute, guess that means we've left the table but are willing to come back if they sort themselves out

feels like we know he wants to join us and can stand firm, Palace need to sell,

I'm being hopeful because I want it to happen, but I think he's here when the window (SLAMS) shut on tuesday

It could be a nightmare negotiating with other clubs for a different right winger now that they all know we had £4m available to spend on JRS

Sakamoto would be an exciting addition to our team. Although, imagine Coventry are keen for him to stay with the squad. He played 90 minutes last night in the cup.
  • Who would even be an ideal and realistic alternative at RW for us now? The majority of names we’d previously mentioned, you’ve got their clubs asking for stupid amounts for them which we will obviously not fork out.

I’ve no doubt that if we are still prepared to pay a  fairly hefty fee for a winger (£4m the supposed deal for JRS), then we would be able to get someone decent but can’t help but feel like our backs are now unnecessarily up against the wall and we’re hugely against the clock to find a suitable replacement.

It’s disgraceful that these greedy agents are allowed to do this to a player that is quite clearly wanting stability as a player after a few pretty crappy loans, but I guess that’s just the footballing world we now live in.

    Bugger.

I read that as the deal we were going to do is off. That doesn't mean it can't be revisited

Shame there is nothing on TransferMarkt about who his Agent is, simply to see what other players they represent.
Jes mate... Sort your Agent out... Its your career, not theirs!!

I was referring to him . I was implying someone on another forum.
