millwall fan, like the way he conducts himself, pure passion with limited ability, they would have mullered us at wembley.things change we can wait, maybe with the cull at charlton some heroes may evolve ,players who play for the badge and most of all dont giggle or make friends with there opponents or shirk tackles on live tv.
ValleyGary - fans run on the pitch at a lot of grounds in the final game of the season and home fans normally run on when they get through to Wembley, but because it's us you think we're all scum! Hope you were abusing all the Charlton that used to storm the pitch at your annual Welling friendly!
nolly - Tony Craig has developed into a player I didn't think he would do, you're correct he is limited but very capable at this level. But his determination, passion and focus is superb. Puts the tackles in, wins the headers and works his socks off as well as giving a gee up to the fans every game. Every team needs one or two of them.
Ps. Plenty of flat caps on display at The Valley Monday night! Not my cuppa tea, tried one on last year & I looked a right whelk. (cue predictable replies of "you are a whelk already")
"Morison has been sensational for the Lions this season ........and tapped home his 23rd of the campaign in all competitions after Town keeper Alex Smithies parried a cross into his path midway through the opening half."
You think how many saves that Swindon keeper made after half time at The Valley .......
Jesus, Huddersfield would not have scored if they had played all night, they were bloody awful.
Still, fair play to the Spanners, the Terriers were never allowed in the contest because Millwall harried and hassled them all night.
Swindon will be weakened by the loss of Greer at Wembley, they are not the best defensive side anyway, and will have to rely on Ward, Painter (if fit) and Austin to get amongst Millwall at the back.
The key for me will be Douglas in midfield for Swindon, if he can dictate play like he did in the later stages at The Valley then Swindon have a chance.
The other factor will be the state of the Wembley pitch, a bad pitch will not really suit Swindon whereas Millwall may be more able to adapt.

First of all, what on earth is that response in reply to exactly?
And secondly, don't tell me what my club is or isn't, I know perfectly well seeing as like your pals, I go every week.

Sorry, that's just cracked me up!
(The ones that come out of the woodwork appear to be Arsenal, Chelsea, Palace, Charlton and Tottenham fans!! Amount of texts I've had from them asking for Wembley tickets! I agree - they're all scum!)
[cite]Posted By: creepyaddick[/cite]Well done SLL, Have a great day out you lucky sod!
Just want a win this year, sod the day out. And as little contact as possible with the mongs who seem to appear from all over South London following Millwall for the day.

And mine ........[/quote]
Mine's on for this very reason, the pub will be rid of self pretending hard man as they make there way to wembley and we can relax and booze on till we cant see no more!!
Gutting that we were that close to to a SE London final. I think we'd have turned in around from earlier in the season, couldn't get much worse anyway.
Huddersfield looked terrible. Looking at the League next year it's just a shame we aren't in Southampton's position financially.

SLL - Can you not just say for once that your fans were wrong to run onto the pitch. I heard the bloke on the tannoy ask you not too. Its obvious the club are sh*t scared of what the FA would do if something did happen with supporters coming onto the pitch. Millwalls rep would obviously count against them. Most didnt but there were a good thousand or so that came on, running around like divs.

I'm often one to criticise the scum but to be fair to them they've just won a play off semi and are going to Wembley. Who cares if they run on the pitch, loads of other clubs do it.
Back to the game now.......Huddersfield were absolutely awful and Millwall thoroughly deserved the win. I cling on to the hope that Millwall will bottle it once again. No one gave Scunthorpe a prayer last year and look what happened.
[cite]Posted By: Groucho78MFC[/cite]Anyone wanna come to Wembley? 4 per season ticket. I'll put Dec and Suz down for one each. Goonerhater will probably want one too!
4 per season ticket? So that's about 25k Wembley tickets accounted for, where will the other 15k mugs come from?

I think they were wrong to do it. No doubt there were youngsters in the upper tiers (...and lower who DIDN'T run on the pitch) that were waiting for the team to come back out for a lap of honour. They shouldn't have done it, and they know they shouldn't have. I;m of the opinion that if you want to run on the pitch in the circumstances, you do it. If you get caught, you'll get banned, and you'll have absolutely no right to moan about it.
BUT...
It was no different to any other end-of-season pitch invasion last week (...execpt Grimsby). It was merely celebratory. No aggresive intent - i don't think one person on the pitch even paid a seconds attention to the Huddersfield fans. The players didn't come back out, which was a shame. But to make anything more of it than just being out of jubilation is ridiculous.

Wouldn't mind going to a typical Millwall day at the football.
Would we need tickets?

Bet Colin will be!

LOL
