My Millwall mate said that this guy is very poor. Missed an open goal from 2 yeards out this season and how he makes a living as a footballer is beyond him.

However I will give him the chance and hopes he turns out to be a decent player.
always the way one of my mates said similar thing ...yet they rate Jordan stewart and Josh wright

I've never seen him play so I shall reserve judgement until after he's donned the red shirt and graced the hallowed turf.
  • He is not really a winger. I certainly wouldn't play him there as he isn't exactly disciplined in any defensive duties and can't really tackle. He is a striker that perhaps can do a job on the wing as an attacking threat.

He has made some impressions from the wing, putting in a few crosses etc but he ain't all that. Most Millwall are at a loss to explain why we made the signing permanent.

The "big, strong and shite" comment cracked me up!

He's only going to be around for nine games so not going to get too excited either way.

Thanks for the input but I think SCP saw a bit more of him in his time at Leicester than you have at the toolbox so I am going to give the guy the benefit of any doubt.

Sorry HandG but I thought the idea of getting loan players in was to freshen the squad up for the final push and give some of out "tired" players a rest.

I would like to think any loan players would be quality enough to maybe consider buying permantly due to the impact they have/would made/make.

I sincerly hope I am wrong and Dany makes a mark in the remaining 9 games but I get the feeling this won't be the case looking at his record.

I haven't been this underwhelmed by a signing since we signed Kermogant.
  • One of us now. I suggest we get behind him and be positive rather than deciding he's shite before any of us have had a look. Welcome Dany I say.

Well I see you nicked my comment so I assume that was in answer to me. Lets be honest Kermy wins every header and knocks it into space but thats about it. He goals scored and assist record speaks for itself. I would much rather see Hayes up there with BWP than Kermy and there is no way Kermy is a Championship forward.

Just spoke to my pal, he's a Millwall season ticket holder. Said that N'Guessan is fast & strong and would have liked to have seen more of him in the shirt. Being kept out the team by Keogh & Kane at the moment. Most importantly he thinks that he'll do well for us.

Didn't he come in on loan and then subsequently join us as a free agent?

I seem to remember McLeary came when he was out of contract as well .

I think the last player we paid a fee from them for is probably Phil Walker in 1979 .

  • If he can run faster than Harry Cripps then that'll do for me.

Depends what part you are talking about Tango, no wind up mate, if you search the threads there are plenty that love Kermy to bits (as I do) but dont like the hoof ball we play to reach him. I would much rather see us play the ball on the deck.

If BWP was on the end of every flick on and putting it away it might be more acceptable but it does not happen, Kermy wins the header and it it normally falls into open space and we lose possession.

Been there since 10 am this morning, Shooters. ;o)

Thissigning I guess (absolutely no pun intended) is about injecting pace and strength into our pedestrian side.

Bit like with Haynes, but of course, he's got Michael Owen hamstrings.

Agree that we play too much to his head. He's actually got a decent touch and the strength to hold up the ball to lay it off with his feet. But that's down to his team-mates, not him. He can only eat what he's being served. Certainly don't agree that (if played the right way) he's not good enough for the championship............

If Kermo is asked to win the headers and flick it on it's not really his fault if he does exactly that and it breaks down because BWP is on a different wavelength.

I agree it doesn't work very well but I don't think you can blame Kermo for it.

saw him play for lincoln a couple of years ago and he looked quality and far too good for league two at the time. Thought at the time id love us to sign him for league one but he hasnt set the world alight since he left them. Would have preferred ephraim back but dont think n'guessan is too bad!
