    Was very lucky to be in the stadium tonight - the atmosphere was brilliant throughout, but the noise on that last lap of the 5,000 metres was something else.

    The family and friends of one of the other runners in the race (Lopez Lomong from the USA) were a few rows in front, and he came up and joined them in the stand. He still had his kit on under his tracksuit, and after posing for photos for a family there with their two young children, he unpinned his name and number from his vest to give to the kids - a really nice touch.

    As for Bolt and co - different class.
