    Cheers Rich/Smudge. I've had worse nights out that's for sure! Mum loved her athletics so I did shed a few tears. I could hear her screaming Mo round that last lap alongside me.

    Special night for me and a special night for our nation.

    @wss what was the atmosphere like there ?

    For a venue that would have a fair.share of corporates, and overseas supporters, it sounded utterly incredible.

    Ha ha. I was sitting in virtually the same spot as WSS, on the grass bank outside the stadium, watching the big screen, at around 1.30pm.

    Nine if the 3 athletics winners from last night did, they stood there looking emotional, proud and happy - no issue with that as far as I'm concerned.

    really thought she was too far behind but back in she comes! awesome! she looked gutted at the end though. hope they get an interview with her.

    That bloke Rooney earlier that didn't make the final, felt dreadfully sorry for him. apologising to everyone and anyone.
