    5 bowlers I mean, although 5 batsman + a keeper also works.
  • 34-2.
  • Oh dear....34-3.

    Taylor run out :-(

If you are playing 6 specialist batsmen, and have a quality No 7 in Prior, then surely you should be picking your 4 bowlers primarily on their bowling abilities, you don't pick your batsmen on their ability to bowl? Of course if your lower order can score runs that's really useful, but they've got to be wicket takers first.
  • 48-4...a tall order is getting taller.
  • 69-4.
  • 87-4..hope yet?

Still a long, long way to go in a fourth innings.

I'd love to be proved wrong but I reckon we'll be lucky to walk away with a draw from this.

When you lose your best batsmen, you're going to struggle to chase down a score like that...sort of shot ourselves in the foot in the last week or so (although kp is not blameless)

No doubt that KP is our best player BUT, imagine if Solly had sent some derogatory comments about some of his team mates & Powell found out about it. Think he would be left with a very tough decision about what do for the good of the team. Personally think Flower, Strauss & the ECB have handled the situation very well
  • 120-4 Lunch.

(Need 226 off 63 overs to win).

What a brainless thing to do KP......like The Sarf Effrikens were going to sit on the texts and not let the cat out of the bag of course they didn't and in pretty quick time, surprise surprise, they duly did.
    Manor from heaven for them!

If we get another 100 sharpish without losing a wicket I am getting to Lords for the last session

Outside chance still but Trott and Bairstow both need tons, that way we would be like 250-6 worst case scenario. Be exciting if that was the score. Although I would rather one of them hit a 150. SA by 75 for me
  • 131-4. Need another 215......

    Bairstow out...

The equivalent of what KP did, would be if Yann texted Leicester details about our team formation and tactics for tomorrow!
