It wasn’t a tackle it was a clearance that the forward ran on to.
That's not what happened though, is it? The Swedish player wasn't standing still and the Ukranian just ran into him.
There were two players running at each other, one took off stud first, yes he got the ball, but he also when knee high through the other guy. It was reckless and dangerous and if you're claiming the Ukrainian could some how have avoided the challenge with the speed they were both approaching each other then you're deluded.
Can’t say I’ve been impressed by Ukraine at all this tournament.
They looked decent for the last 15 minutes against the Netherlands... but then how good were the Netherlands after getting dumped out the tournament by the Czech Republic?

But he didn't though, not even close to an accurate description. He kicked the ball cleanly from underneath it and the natural momentum of the kick straightened his leg which meant the studs were then showing forward.
Bit of a debate on Twitter about the red card. Collymore thinks it was a red, Lineker says not. Joey Barton unsurprisingly also says not a red. Roy Keane is yet to comment.

anyway Ukraine a better game for us
Sweden looked the better side when 11v11 so probably best for us.
either way it’s irrelevant if we don’t perform
it was a clearance. That the Ukrainian went in exceptionally late on

Hopefully they'll find a Ukrainian pundit for Saturday!

Munich, St Petersburg, Rome, Baku
More seriously its also the same date as the London bombings in 2005.
Not sure why that's relevant, but a fact nonetheless!
Its a 72,000 stadium
However would not be at all surprised if it was Italy/Switzerland/England/Czechs
