Kent have a 100% T20 record when I don't watch them, but when I do watch them, like against Middlesex and Glouc yesterday they lose, and really badly, in both games being completely outplayed!

The scorecard makes very interesting reading, as Kent scored 9 sixes but struggled to post a decent total, they seemed unable to find the gaps and instead had to resort to risky slogs, and kept getting caught in the deep. Glouc only scored 3 sixes but their scoreboard rattled on very comfortably.

Wondered why Gloucester were 1.01 to win before a ball was bowled but now see the connection between that and the tweet "have seen killerandflash at the Kent match".
  • 18 year old Ryan Davies makes his debut behind the stumps today. Anyone know anything about him. Let's hope he has a stormer.
  • ....We won the toss and are having a bat.
  • Not a good start Kent 2/2
  • What's going on ??????
  • Footitt is being discussed as a future England bowler, fast left arm seamer, two in the first five balls of the match.

With a name like that he has to have something going for him....

Kent 205 all out, Derbyshire 0/2. Coles got two wickets in the first over.

  • Now 0/3 Coles got the third as well.
  • 15/4, Coles destroys the top order.
  • 5 for Coles. 23/5
  • Amazing. 205 such a poor score for Kent, having won the toss. But Derbyshire are still 32 runs short of the follow on!
  • 32-5, Durston 30*.
  • 37-6, Durston falls to Stevo.
  • 40-7, Stevo again.
  • What a bizarre game, when you consider that Adam Riley made 34, his personal best score!
  • Derbyshire card:

    56-7, 23 overs

    Slater 0
    Godleman 2
    Hughes 0
    Dilshan 0
    Durston 35
    Elstone 0
    White 0
    Poynton 14*
    Palladino 5*

Four overs left in the day.
  • Blimey - that Derby scorecard is crazy!
  • Sponsored links:

  • 17 wickets in the day = pitch inspection and, being Kent, points deduction no doubt.

I still back Derbyshire to get a first innings lead given Kent's usual inability to remove the tail!
  • Wicket review and big fine.
  • Apparently down to good bowling, wicket played okay.
  • WOW !

I come on here for a quick look before turning in and find our lads have been in their " Dr Jeykll " mode today !

As I'm out tomorrow, I'll be hoping the evening's peek will reveal a fantastic victory in just 2 days !

    Come on , Kent !!!!

What a strange days cricket, absolutely unreal from Coles against their top order!

On another note Blakey got a ton for my team yesterday, not a bad knock!

    Len you old cynic.

86 all out so WE have a lead of 119

Thomas, who I indicated previously could have the ammunition to run through a tail, took all three wickets.
  • Here we go again:

  • 48-1

    Key bowled for 18

    Lead of 192
