I can't make it tomorrow as I'm on holiday! Looking at the Surrey squad and the firm of both sides so far in the competition it should be a comfortable Kent win but I'm hoping for a huge upset! Surrey losing KP Sanga and Roy at the same time as an injury crisis with Davies Dernbach Tremlett Burns Henriques and now the in form Harinath with others suffering fatigue from being over bowled this surrey squad is looking in a bad way!!
Think we should bowl first and try and keep you ton less than 140 to give us a chance.. more than that and we're out of it unless someone surprises us all!
Thought it was quite amusing how Key struggled to give a straight answer to the question "so how come Matt Coles left to go to Hants and then came back again?"
After some relatively barren years and not fulfilling his talent, Northeast is now batting like he is a schoolboy again, when some (Michael Atherton for example) were touting him as the next England captain. Obviously some way off that, but good to see his talent is starting to shine through.
Also interesting it is the shorter format of the game that he is now excelling in, when traditionally he has always been very much a player for the longer format of the game.
Northeast must be one of the highest scorers in this seasons T20 surely.
Northeast is the highest. 488 to date and 75 ahead of Klinger in second and no less than 160 in front of Gayle in 3rd (just three innings). He averages a fraction under 70 with a strike rate of 160.
Like Addickforlife it wasn't until the Beckenham game against Surrey that I realised he was capable of such an innings. Next day he got a ton at Somerset.
Brilliant once again, that is an absolute hammering.
Was at the game and Kent played really well. The only thing Surrey will win this year on this performance is the longest plastic beer cup snake in history.
A very enjoyable evening only spoilt by the numpties more interested in watching cups being turned into snakes. Stevens knock was superb and bowled out Linley. Well worth the money and a shame some of fans were more entertained by the action off the pitch. One idiot ran onto the pitch after the game and did a somersault. Onelce the stewards caught him he probably realised that was one the most expensive somersaults ever! Well done Kent.
Just back from the Oval. I have never seen so many pissed up people in all my life. Great win for Kent we actually smashed them. We were helped by the number of players Surrey had out but a good allround display.

Enjoy!
Stevens 90 from 38 so far
Trust me
Surrey 6-1 after one over.
Kent were 160-4 at the same stage
31.5 runs per over required from this point. :-)
Kent win by 54 runs! In t20 terms, that is a thumping.
Seriously, followed this on the BBC website & wished we'd made it to the Oval tonight ( again !)
How good is it to have a trouper like Stevo in our side? Eat your hearts out, Surrey !
Son has just called and asked if we can take grandson no 2 to his first match v Glamorgan in T/Wells as he's starting to show an interest in the game.
Is the P.....you know the rest !
Super Kent !!
