    Decent start 86-0 off 11
  • 116-1 off 14 overs
  • Alex Blake in at number three.
  • Blake bowled for 0.
  • Kent finish on 173-6.
  • Kent lads are a motley bunch aren't they.

Stevens & Tredwell look at least 45 & Coles & Claydon look well overweight.
  • Kent win by 22 runs.

No thanks to the rather unfit and unprofessional Coles, who went for 34 in the last over, bowling 3 no balls.

The fitnesss coach, needs to pull his finger out.

Certainly doesn't help our net run rate especially if it means we miss out on a home game or even qualification.
  • unprofessional Coles,

  • Was there tonight, coles is a fucking unit no two ways about that but bowled well up until the last over when he was sloppy

Really impressed with kent tonight. Again, the burst sprinting of the outfielders is something to behold.

Cowdrey played well and fielded well. And denleys knock was pure joy. Good to have him back

What was the deal with trego? Got a ton of abuse from a couple of blokes near where I was. Got out cheap, didn't seem to be disrespectful in any way and had the decency to get himself out quick on his return

  • Is that the Coles who has taken 52 county championship wickets or a different one?

Everyone has a bad day at the office.
  • Coles has been excellent since he returned .

12 Jul - away at Gloucestershire (Cheltenham)
17 Jul - home to Glamorgan (Tunbridge Wells)
24 Jul - away at Essex (Chelmsford)

Can we get the two wins we need to finish top of the South Group?
  • Think we need one win to qualify for QF. 2:30 start today.
without wishing to jinx us, the QF is on we Aug 12. Top 2 finish gets us home draw. However looking at the fixture list we won't be able to play at Canterbury as the women's test v Australia is being played there that day. Presumably if we are home it will have to be at Beckenham, or possibly Tunbridge Wells.
  • Gloucester 166-7 after their knock
  • 131-6 with 20 balls remaining. Blake and Coles in.
  • 23 off last 8 balls has swung it back in our favour. Blake!

131-6 with 20 balls remaining. Blake and Coles in.

23 in the next 8 balls from Blake.

    13 from 12 required.
  • Coles out first ball. 154-7

    12 required from 10
  • Buzzing for Blakey, absolute run machine for Beckenham, I hope he sees it over the line.

Smacks a six for the win. :-)

Well done Alex Blake! We are unstoppable in the 20 over format this year.
  • Won it with a six, get in Blakey!
  • Blake yet again proves to be a massive asset to us as a finisher.

    59 off 24 balls today!
  • Well, well, well. I thought that game had gone. Great stuff from Blake. Kent still TotT.
