Would hate to think what D/L is now.

  • Start?

Started at 8. But Cowdrey is now out, clean bowled by Tom Curran. 42-3, another 209 needed off 28.3. The Sams are together.
  • Northeast out. We're doomed. The Currans have all the wickets
  • Oh Dear. North by NorthEast clean bowled by Tom Curran. 49-4. These Curran brothers look good.
  • And now Bilings stumped by Foakes for just 3. 49-5.
    Adams out!
  • We are in trouble pile of shite .
  • WASP says 1%.
  • Kent need 184 off 23
    67-5
  • FFS. Monster 6 by Stevens to get us over 100, Tredwell out next ball! 101-7.

I posted on the Surrey thread but ill repeat it on here. When will Darren Stevens retire?? He always does well against us!!

Luckily this time it won't make a difference!

  • Stevo just gone. Feathered one behind to Foakes. And Kent are well and truly Foaked. Apart from Stevens, this has been a lame response by the Spitfires.
  • Well that'll teach me for thinking it was all over when Stevens got out! Coles is having a whale of a time!!
  • I can't believe what I'm seeing.

Coles out for exactly 100. Kent have lost. Surrey win by 17 runs.
  • superb innings - nearly did the impossible for Kent.
out of partnership of 64, Hunn scored 1 run and faced 5 balls.
  • All of their bowlers went at over 7 runs per over with the exception of these Curran fellas.

    SM Curran 8-3-34-2 (4.25 rpo)
    TK Curran 7.4-0-22-3 (2.86 rpo)
  • What an unbelievable innings great coles! I dont even have it in me to gloat after that!! Phew!!

    Can't believe that...

    From 101-7 to 233 in 17.3 overs.

We needed 18 runs from 15 balls at the time they got the final wicket.

We ALMOST dug ourselves out of a massive hole but much like the T20 quarter final, we left ourselves too much to do *again*.

And I'm not a fan of D/L either!!

How does 273 in the first innings equate to a target of 252 from 40???? Effectively shaving 60 balls from our innings but only 21 runs from the target.

Loss of 2 wickets before DL.
