Anyone been watching the Preseason? Not sure how much you can tell from those games. Rosters to be reduced this week before the final round of preseason games.0
-
Don't think my Redskins fandom will last much longer, obviously not as attached to an American team as I would be to Charlton through a bad patch but its not just being bad, been a public embarrassment every year but 2012. Still looking forward to the season as a whole though, AFC East should be brilliant0

Been a fan for a few years now really got into it once i understood the rules. Going to wembley for the Kansas and Detroit game.0

Im all Steelers, I'm actually going to the opening game of the season next week in Foxborough, Pats v Steelers!
Blue Jays v Red Sox Wednesday
Steelers v Patriots Thursday
West Virginia v Liberty Flames Saturday (College)
Great Road Trip5 -
Cheers for the links, er, Lincs . I'm looking forward to the Dolphins giving it a good go this season. I shall be at Wembley when we host the Jets, just a shame it now clashes with our televised game with Fulham. It's a rare weekend when Charlton and the Phins win so it would be magic if we win at the very same time.1

Feels wrong saying it lol, but its the eagles!stackitsteve said:

Ravens fan here, brilliant organization.1
-
nice one limey
First Ravens fan
Brings our total to 25/32 teams represented.0 -
I doubt we'll get any other AFC South fans. Besides the Colts the division is pretty shit0
-
Properly looking forward to this season, will be interesting to see how the Pats cope0
-
Its Washington all the way. I also have a soft spot for Houston dating back to the Oilers days when went would go season long with only the odd win.0
-
My team is the 49ers0
-
Looking at the unclaimed teams they are mainly new/expansion teams
Texans
Jaguars
Titans
Panthers
Or franchises that have moved
Rams
Cardinals
With just the Lions being an old school team.1 -
Surprised at Lions tbh, maybe the name puts Charlton fans off.
Although that doesn't stop Eagles fans0 -
Heading to San Francisco in November, will hopefully go see my first game1
-
Followed American Football for years and always went for the 49ers but went to my first ever game last year and now keep an eye on the Falcons.Planning on taking in a game when in New York later this year hopefully0

It'll be a big year for Thrill Hill best Cincinnati offence since the days of Boomer, Brooks, Ickey, Collinsworth etc. If we can improve our pass rush this year, which we appear to have done & Burfict coming back to fitness I reckon we are in with a shout of an actual play off run rather than the usual derisory effort.

Off to see the Chiefs vs Detriot at the November game. Looking forward to this season.1
-
I used to play American Football in the mid/late 80's for a local team called the Thames Barriers.0

Turns out 49ers are at home when I go, would have been them or Oakland I'd have wanted to attend.0 -

I've always had an AFC and an NFC team - Steelers and the Redskins. Both hark back to my first US trip in 1972, when I visited both cities. Also follow the Bruins (who won the Stanley Cup that year while we were in Boston), but don't really have a fave NBA team. As for baseball, kind of like the Mets, Phillies, and Reds, but I went to see the Orioles once which makes them my team I guess - it was very cold!0
-
What about when its Steelers vs Redskins though? @Pedro450
-
Rarely happens as they are in different leagues; I tend then to support whoever has the best chance of a play off place. If they met in a Superbowl, I would be torn....stackitsteve said:What about when its Steelers vs Redskins though? @Pedro45

I'm so old I can remember pre 911 when the Patriots were one of the worst teams and the Redskins one of the best .. and pre Microsoft, Google, Starbucks and Amazon when Seattle was just another one boat port lost amongst the great north west forests .. how things turn around even under the 'socialist principles' of the NFL..
I have a soft spot for the 'Purple People Eaters', Minnesota Vikings .. they have about as much chance of super bowl success as do Bournemouth winning the Premier .. mmmmmmm ..Anything is possible though ((:>)0 -
Keep a look out for Jarryd Hayne at the 49ers. He is going to be a superstar0
