Can't quite get my head around this bloke no better at all than our youngsters so why have him on loan.

Yet to play in his actual position.

What's that then? I'm not sure he's a striker even if that's what Wikipedia and a few websites claim he is.

Shadows of the Martyn Waghorn signing on loan... Sadly that ended with Pardew being sacked and being replaced by a "Caretaker Manager" who became the actual Manager, we got relegated that year..

We really needed a natural winger on loan. Why other than a couple of loans do we get bad loan players who don't really make much difference to our team?

There's a young winger at Colchester that's meant to be decent

I actually don't think he is that bad. Would do well in squad with confidence and attacking intent.

Completely agree, there's been times where he's almost grabbed a goal out of nothing, just a finish was lacking. I personally rate him, think he will be a quality championship player in the future.

Any inexperienced player is going to struggle in our side under this regime. I would also say that he will do well in a side that plays at a tempo that shifts the ball quickly because he does at least have an idea as to what he's going to do with it before it arrives. Unlike a certain other player of ours who insists on taking the ball down blind alleys until momentum and possession is lost.

Think he is an ok player but catching a ball in play....never seen that in park football let alone professional!

Not better than harriet and probably cost more in wages than harriot another mistake.what you need with a small squad pay more for players no better than what we got. Bet Colchester are pleased with the deal though

    thank fuck for that

Completely pointless loan signing. No better than we already have ( arguably worse) . Coming to us would have done his confidence no good at all.

Shame for the lad but he looked more terrified than our own players and offered very little.

Never looked good enough. Does this been lloyd doyley is coming in then, frees up some wages? Oh joy

    Waste of time.

With JBG and Cousins out the weekend, the decision to send him back is peculiar unless we have someone coming in?

We'll probably just ruin the confidence of some more promising youth players

    Some good news, pony player.

    He's not a winger!

He's a typical young striker, who's not good enough to play through the centre, so gets pushed out wide, as if that wasn't a specialist position.

Odd timing to send him back now, rather than after Saturday's game, is he injured? If we got a replacement loan player in this week, we'd be paying his wages for the 2 weeks international break!

Agreed. he was pretty toilet but that is another less body.. unless it frees up some cash for a loan signed from the Belgian 3rd Division.
