If this doesn't spark a jump in the protest then nothing will. There were 10 minutes there that change everything.

Aaaaargh!! Didn't hear it. is it available online?

The club have been absolutely humiliated here.

Sometimes I wish CP was more of an arsehole so it would have come out sooner.

    So many lies

    But that's just it -- he isn't.

And he called him Row land.
  • The man bleeds Charlton. Confirmed stuff I knew and so glad he took the gloves off and went in, this evening.

He is so well respected in the football and media world, he will be believed and this will hurt the regime.. this will help.

See you back at the Valley in 5 years Chris.

Less than 5 years, I hope.

I cant begin to think Duchataletet would be able to offer any opinion on the suitabiity or otherwise of our players - so someone was watching & advising at the time of the takeover. I heavily suspect Fraeye was involved & Riga as well who was i believe not coaching at the time.

No evidence for this - but i have a feeling Riga's roots run very deep in relation to our problems under this regime.

Judging by a lot of the comments I'm seeing - it looks as though all the PR work that the club has done in the last week has just been destroyed. By a club legend and a gentleman. In a matter of minutes.

    "Roland Rat" just mentioned... ouch.

Very interesting timing, makes me angry and proud listening to CP.

There's no doubt that momentum is building but we need to keep it up.

CARD have a great platform here to make next Saturdays protest huge, CP providing all the ammo.

    Let's get these bastards out.

Still remembers the name of the press officer from 15 years ago. Class.

Well she did give him the best 45 minutes of his life.
  • What did he say?

Roland told him certain players not good enough. Solly Wiggins Yann and Hamer & Stephens. Pretty much our entire core L1 season.

Cup run ending was the end of him regardless.

That Roland was to choose the players he recruited to play. That as a manager he'd walk into a training session and there'd be a new player waiting for him of whom he didn't even know.

    Lots more

Powell's view is spot on though, this isn't about colour; you "can't always blame the system".

Absolutely but why is that even a question.

The Rooney rule is a piss take.

If Duchatelet thinks you're not good enough, then you're probably a Premier League player.

Agree completely, I used to get wound up when he was Charlton's manager and he was often used quoted on the topic. Much like Katrien and the female CEO soundbites.

If you're good enough, you're good enough. That's all that should matter.

Any coach, of any ethnicity, that has gone through the correct channels and experience to earn an opportunity to manage a football club.
