Bit harsh on Crofts. 80 games in two seasons is pretty decent. Even Buxtons 20 isn't completely dreadful.
If the fee for Jordan Cousins reported by West London Sport is correct - £1.25 million, potentially rising to £1.4 million - it's as welcome as cold sick. Granted we are in a vulnerable position following relegation, with the consequential need to downsize and the regime's desperation to get him off the wage bill, but this level of fee really is a piss take. What message does it send to other clubs ?
Whilst there are areas of his game that need to improve, Jordan has a magnificent engine and has been an excellent young professional, as evidenced by his two Player of the Year Awards (something that no amount of reconstruction by one or two posters on here can derogate from). The figure seems to be going down according to West London Times (I think that was the paper) it is 1.2 million rising to 1.4 with add ons. Their supporters on Twitter are really pleased calling it a steal and he will be worth 10 million in a few years. I think they have got the best end of the deal!
