Good quote from Slade which confirms once again that Simon Clark will be remaining part of his coaching setup: between Kevin and Simon Clark I think we have two really capable coaches that will only help to make us a better team.
Seems a very good appointment.
Experienced in this division, in English football and knows the manager.
Lets hope he's the only assistant we have compared to the six we had last season
Plenty of coaching/backroom links between Charlton and Luton, with Nathan Jones, Paul Hart and Jared Roberts-Smith at Luton, and us now taking Kevin Nugent from them!
Good news. Also good that he's managed to get out to Austria for the tail end of the week, so he can start to get to know the players and see for himself what is needed in terms of reinforcements.
"Nugent began his playing career with the O’s, making 94 league appearances and scoring 20 goals between 1985 and 1992. From there, he joined Plymouth Argyle and would spend three years in Cornwall, before switching to Bristol City and then Cardiff City."
according to bbc sport, Arsenal have made a £2m bid for Rob Holding - central defender with Bolton. Took them down to League one last season ala Cousins - 20 year old & their POTY. Less experience than Cousins but twice the price.........
Love the way everyone is slating fees for players sold yet none of know for a fact what hes been received.
It was obvious that JBG and Cousins would leave. Watt i think will go and save us wages as well as maybe Lookman. Cant see what all the fuss is about losing these players. They didnt perform last year and as a group were not good enough for the championship. . . I have no issue if more leave and we replace with fresh faces

You mention four players. Cousins and Lookman didn't perform ? Watt was on loan and JBG has just been bought by a PL club.
Richard Cawley @RichCawleySLP 5m5 minutes ago Mentioned in paper today that one keeper that might be a possible signing for #cafc is Simon Moore at Cardiff.

What does any of it matter until the cretins that own and run our club leave
'The first team are in action against Israeli opposition in Austria on Tuesday evening, while the development squad travel to Dulwicj Hamlet.'
