If you're given a choice between one player or nothing it isn't much of a choice is it?
This is the trouble with not doing your business early you get plays with no clubs who are unfit because of lack of pre season training

These free players can do as much work as they want in the Gym but they need game time to get the rust out of their game and work on their decision making when under pressure from the opposition

As clear as day I could see him showing a game(not our one!) on his mobile, squirrel face then stuck notes down on her note pad.
