No chance. Parker demonstrated he wanted to leave without giving two shits for the club.
Lookman will have the rug pulled from beneath his feet and be pushed out the door by the mob in charge without a single thought given to the players preference. Seems to be zero suggestion that he wants to go at this stage

Parker didn't go to the Nigels. This would be much much worse.
I honestly think Lookman will not be with us come midnight tonight and if you think he will then you obviously haven't been paying attention to whats been happening at our shambles of a football club the last 2 years.
I think he will still be with us purely because hasn't had enough game time, either last season or this for a club to gamble on him.
If Lookman became a nigel could he overtake Scott Parker in the most hated former player ranking?
He would only join Paul Williams, Paul Mortimer, John Humphrey (who never wanted to go there in the first place but was sold at knock down price to pay the rent) as well as Mike Flanagan to name but a few.
If the money is right you cant blame Lookman, the only time you could have a go at him is if he he had a choice of clubs and elected to move to them.
I hope if Lookman goes to Palace people don't get on his back because of it. It would be entirely KM and RDs doing. Ridiculous to compare it to the Parker situation.

This! nothing to do with Lookman, it will all be the clubs doing. we dont need another final nail in the coffin, but for those waverers this would be it i think

There's always that really weird part of the transfer where you have to agree personal terms and sign contracts and all that. Don't think that's KM's doing.
Not that our owner and CEO give a stuff about the unwritten rules, but selling our best player to Palace would be right up there under things not to do. If they are that stupid, the sh*t is going to really hit the fan.
be even better if wilshere goes palace and they get relegated showing that pardew couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery then they have a massive wage bill next year.

Or the bit that comes first, where the team you want to play for whores you out. Why would you stay with that club ?
Completely different situations, if you can't see that then it's pointless trying to converse
I wonder if Palace will take Lookman and then loan him back to us for the rest of the season? He's never going to play at Prem level at the moment so would probably be loaned out anyway. Wouldn't make it any easier mind...
Shush... OUR TEAM are trying to concentrate, it's a very important day you know!
Latrien has a holiday to book , conference to go to our prize asset to flog to our deadliest rival on the cheap... AND her lackies are desperately trying to find that line that we are due to fail to get over later this evening...

If he's got his head screwed on as many have said he has, I'd hope he's listening to what Slade and fans are saying rather than upstairs. He doesn't need to play for them. He can play for the fans. If Tottenham were to come in as some have said might, that'd be a lot easier to take than palace and I'd hope that by now Ade would realise that. Going to palace no matter what is the ultimate betrayal. Especially straight from us to them.

He's how old, 18? At a club that sells a player as soon as they look like they might have the slightest bit of talent and is run like a circus (sorry well run circuses). He gets offered the chance to secure his future with perhaps a well paid 4 or 5 year contract at a club that is, unfortunately, a hell of a lot better run than ours at the moment and the chance to train with players like Loic remy rather than Loic Nego. Pretty sure he doesn't support Charlton and has been at the club at a time of only turbulence and failure to perform on and off the pitch.
I want him to stay, and Palace are one of the last clubs I would want to see him at, but if he does go there we can blame the ineptitude of Meire and RD rather than a young man who just wants to play football and improve.
Hopefully it is all just deadline day BS and him and Holmes can help fire us up the football ladder, but if he does go I wont find myself booing him if he comes back down the valley after leaving for Palace.

Dale Stephens has put in a transfer request to leave Brighton, we understand.
Burnley and Hull are understood to be interested in signing him before the deadline.
So will probably end up at St Etienne.
