Keep a player who asked to go out on loan to get game play .. he was 4th choice, Tal Ben H and Bikey were superb and let's not forget the long unbeaten run at the start of any season , he played one game against Birmingham in that run and guess who made the mistake for there goal to make it 1-1 ..... An average centre half no near as good as Bauer or Jorge T or at the time TBH, Bikey or Gomaz

The League One financial rules for newly relegated clubs are that player wages can't exceed 75% of turnover. Turnover includes any money put in by the owner as long as it isn't in the form of loans.
Therefore, if an owner wants to buy promotion by keeping or signing high earning players he can do so whereas he couldn't under FFP rules in The Championship.

Plenty of good young players have coped with L1 football. Defoe tore it up for Bournemouth, while Lallana played there for Southampton, and Hoolahan for Norwich, and none of them are big, physical players

Notice also that both Cousins and Fox have been on pre-preseason training fitness courses. Fox twitted a pic of himself moving a huge tyre.
Or was that his reaction on being told to report to Sparrows Lane for pre-season training?
That picture is of Morgan Fox placing a tyre in the Left-Back position so there is an extra obstacle for attackers to deal with next season
Thought is was a sign of the young man's commitment and desire to do well that he took this on off his own back.
Shame that people complain that players aren't committed or don't want it enough but when they show they are they just get more stick.
