Leyton Orient have announced the signing of French defender Yvan Erichot on a two-year deal following his release by Belgium Jupiler League side Sint-Truiden. He made 31 appearances for the Belgian outfit last term, and has been the O's sixth signing of the summer.

Charlton Athletic fans have succeeded in their attempt to have The Valley listed as an Asset of Community Value.
The application by the Charlton Athletic Supporters' Trust was approved by Greenwich Council, and means the group must be notified if the ground is to be sold.
"An ACV recognises how important The Valley is to the local community," CAS Trust chairman Barnie Razzell said.
"It is our hope that we will not ever have to use the legislation."

Strange that stopping Harris from buying us opened the door for RD to buy the club ......... they never mention that ??

ACV does not stop a sale of the Valley. If a move from the Valley was proposed with very positive circumstances for the club, then likely few would oppose it.
Harris, if anything was put off with dealing with the shifty character Jimensz, who was asking way, way too much for the club (a little like Duchatelet trying to claw back all the money wasted on useless players transfers fees & wages).

Absolute rubbish, it wasn't the Harris bid that was going to move the club, as didn't even get that far to bid for it . The bid at the time was by a group fronted by Arenacom who are German and build stadiums, and if Slater hadn't lied to people where he was on a certain day it might have been bought by them .
