Wagstaff was an academy graduate and supposed to be a wide player who should have been able to cross the ball at a playable height.

Never saw this happen very often. Always ran into no man's land and usually fell over his own feet and then claiming he had been fouled.

Reason for his release from Charlton and now Bristol City.

Lots of Wagstaff failing over in this video. Would hate to see this at the Valley again

One thing that really pisses off about the regime is the recruitment, particularly players like Reza, Vaz Te or Bergdich who don't get what its like to play for Charlton and don't really care.
Which is why Wagstaff would be a welcome addition giving the dross we've seen in recent years. He works hard, gives protection to the full back and chips in with quite a few goals.
Free transfer, won't be on too high a wage, gives a shit about Charlton and a decent league 1 player. Sign him up
Well thought of at Bristol City as well, http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/177331-scott-wagstaff-departs-from-ashton-gate-merged/&page=3.

I'm sure he'll be subject of conversation between some of the long serving players and probably Euell etc. If they think he's worth signing we'll at least make an offer I'd think.

Looked good when he came on as sub at the Valley for the under 18's

May I ask happyvalley, why I am being flagged for this?

I forgot that could happen a manager talking to the fans about what is happening and saying something of substance.

Can we change the thread to "Wagstaff" please? Saw loads of new posts, only find out it was about waggy! Thought there was juicy gossip!?

Whilst I'm here, I'd take waggy. Another winger, which we lack, however if he didn't re sign I wouldn't be distraught.

He's been on fire since joining the MLS, and with Lloyd Sam on the wing sthey'v formed a really good partnership. Smashed NYCFC for seven just last week too, it must be extra sweet for him looking across and seeing is more established brother sitting on the bench not getting a look in
