It is great to see so many on here that I saw too.
Some unusual ones were seeing Spanish classical guitarist Sergovia playing at Catford in about 1985 or so, as a very old man indeed. Saw the first Flying Pickets gig at the Albany where they were not on the bill but kind of gatecrashed the interval. Kate and Anna McGarrigal twice, once at the Fairfield Hall once at the Savoy Theatre where they were astonishingly almost sweating music each time. The "Dark side of the Moon' original concert at Wembley with the circular film. The Who and all those others at each Valley concert. Roy Harper playing his Valentine album on the day of it's release (Valentines Day) at the Rainbow. Bunked into the Crystal Palace bowl and say Floyd, but very impressively supported by the original Faces before Rod Stewart went solo. The Pink Fairies all over London, because they were always playing somewhere most weekends. That Lou Reed 'Rock and Roll Animal' concert at the Rainbow (mentioned above), very good that one. Zeppelin at the Ally Pally, Earls Court and Knebworth...and the jason Bonham one at the O2. Bob Dylan at Earls Court. Blackbush.
Lots of others, but these might fit the thread title.
You must have been at a lot of concerts my uncle went to. He was at both valley concerts, the stones at Hyde park and was/is a big fan of the pink fairies. We went to see them last year at the beaverwood, musically very good but vocally lacking! He used to go to a lot of gigs at the Thames Poly and also the tramshed (he took me to see Marriott there)
Probably I was. However for my sins I spent my student days living north of the river in Tottenham, Scotland. Sometimes came back to the Harrow Inn Abbey Wood, the Black Prince and Goldsmiths. Being a student up north as it were, lots at the Rainbow and especially the Roundhouse.
Pulp Glastonbury 95, Jeff Buckley on the same day Nirvana Reading 92, Neil Young & Pearl Jam a few years later, Pearl Jam Brixton Academy after Ten was released- Eddie Vedder pretty much climbed to the ceiling and fell back in to the crowd, Blind Melon last UK show at Mean Fiddler, Oasis last night at Maine Road
Pink Floyd - Crystal Palace - 1971 Pink Floyd - Earl's Court Dark Side of the Moon Tour - 1973 Sex Pistols supported by Aswad (a fight broke out). 1970something at the Kings Cross Cinema (before Sex Pistols became famous/notorious).
Also just remembered - Patti Smith - Roundhouse doing Horses in May 1976 supported by The Stranglers and also Tangerine Dream at the Albert Hall (mid 80's?) when the decibel level exceeded 120 and got a mention in the Times!

Where the Fairies recorded their live album.
I can remember running out of the Roundhouse after seeing Hawkwind to get the last 53 back to Charlton. (when it went all the way to Chalk Farm)
Genesis with Peter Gabriel at Reading. Emerson, lake and Palmer at the Oval, Yes at Loftus road. Grand Funk Railroad at Hyde park, The Who at the Valley, Led Zeppelin at Earls court.
ELP - tick. Thought Focus were on the bill too, loved Hocus Pocus Yes - Missed it Grand Funk Railroad - Tick. Humble pie stole the show The Who - Tick. Real legendary gigs. Zeppelin - almost tick. Had a ticket, couldn't go. One of the big disappointments in my life.
Went to see The Who at Shepherds Bush empire an al on what I think was one of their come back gigs, though I could be wrong bout that. Only downside was I had to go with me mum and some of the folk from her office (she was HR manager for a city firm and would always get offered tickets from a ticket agent she used, hence me mums involvement in two od my legendary gig offereings).
Upside was I met Ocean Colour Scene in the boozer before hand
Slade at Goldsmiths College. Not 'fashionable' at the time but a rockin great gig. The Blues band at the Town and Country Club. All the band from the movie without Jake and Elwood, Maybe someone can remind me who sang for them? Big Country at The Astoria. Still like the band to this day. Genesis at the Marquee club, 'Secret' warm up gig before a gig at Milton Keynes Bowl. I was watching the gig next to Fish from Marillion. Albert Lee at The Tramshead. Fabulous guitarist. Peter Gabriel at Earls Court on the SO tour. Just magical.
Weeley Festival 1971 ....Faces, T Rex, Mott the Hoople, King Crimson, Caravan, Rory Gallagher, Lindisfarne, Groundhogs etc., etc. Emerson, lake & Palmer - Drury Lane 1971 Canned Heat - Lewisham Odeon 1971 Pink Floyd - Earls Court 1973 (Dark Side of the Moon) Rolling Stones - Hyde park 1969 Grand Funk Railroad & Humble Pie - Hyde Park 1971 Skatalites - The Witchdoctor, Catford 1967. (Shit, I was only 14) The Oval 1971 .....The Who, Mott the Hoople, Lindisfarne,
Been to so many but the standouts were ELO Madison Square Garden 1977 Rolling Stones Shea Stadium NY Hall and Oates with Springsteen Freehold Raceway NJ One of the best shows I have seen was last year at the Murat theatre right here in Indy Mark Knopfler he was brilliant, The last concert I saw in London before I left was of course The Who at the Valley.
Bananarama - Golders Green 1983. Their first ever live gig
Keren Woodward is fitttt.
And she was then too. I knew them quite well. I went through different phases of fancying them all. Siobhan sister went out with someone I worked with (Gary Crowley) and she was very nice too!
I'd love to do a gig of theirs, although not keen on Butlins weekend bashes.
Having read through this thread Lifers have seen almost every legend in music. It would be interesting to see a similar thread in 30 years what with the shit that kids have to listen to now.

Since you are around, this has been bothering me all day...
Grand Funk in Hyde Park...Legendary? You mean it's actually OK to admit being there? I've spent 40 plus years trying to keep quiet about that.
Isn't it legendary because that was the day we all finally realised it was a giant con-trick?
And were Humble Pie on the bill that day?
Yes - Missed it
Grand Funk Railroad - Tick. Humble pie stole the show
The Who - Tick. Real legendary gigs.
