Cant understand why Kevin Foley is there (confirmed on twitter)

Surely that sort of thing was done the other night when Rudd and Novak visited Bromley?

She couldn't get hold of Jacko so made poor Kevin go instead ;)

Foley was "dismissed" after 5 minutes.

KM did not have an easy ride, although I thought it would have been rougher and her answers more forensically dissected if her responses had not been continually interrupted by the next question.

She'll be aware that the room was not in favour of her and the regime and there were continual calls for talks with Roland. Not everybody stood up, some because they saw it as rude, others such as me not into gesture politics when the point was made.

The anonymous guy that accompanied her (that was Tony Keoghan?) intervened to take questions on Sparrows Lane and promptly waffled on some very basic stuff including the delay of two years, stating it was partly due to relegation then refusing to admit that would be down to money, without giving a sensible reason why relegation caused if.

She made it clear the club is not for sale, also stated that the 1.5% of RD time spent showed that the club was financially stable ... Not quite sure if she justified this as I think both Covered End and Henry Irving followed up with £50 million debt.

At the end, there were calls for her to "just leave" from quite a few including CE.

When KM was asked 'Have the club lost any sponsor this season?', she replied 'No'

This was followed by gasps of 'wow' and members of her staff looking away in disbelief.

She just cannot stop telling lies when put under small amounts of pressure. Same with Cahones

In fairness, the question was this season.

Also on sponsors she said sponsor income was above the level last time we were in league 1 and only slightly below last year

If that is true, big if I know, then perhaps a more concerted effort to enlighten sponsors should be considered.

Could it be that some sponsorships are agreed for a fixed period (eg 3 years) so they cannot just pull out but have to wait until their contract is at an end?

!. She would say that wouldn't she.

    2. If RD decided to sell he wouldn't necessarily tell her. After all, she is a relatively junior (and troublesome) manager representing only 1.5% of his business interests.

I said you have decimated the supporter base and the sponsors (yes pendants I know the literal meaning of the word) and she said "that's not true sponsorship is almost tale same as when we were in league one last time"

    Kap10, she didn't more.

Cahones said building of the main building at Training ground had been delayed by various factors in including relegation.

I pushed him on why relegation would affect delay the building and he realised he'd said the wrong thing and went to what was clearly a pre-written script about "we don't know the club history as well as you fans that's why we want to talk blah blah blah" Meire has used a similar line earlier so obviously an appease the natives trick.

I kept asking why has relegation affected the build and he kept waffling and avoiding the question.

Ian Wallis said "if relegation means we've cut the budget why not just say" to KM but they weren't going to be honest like that as they had set line to stick to.

KM had trotted out the line but not knowing the history but that's why they wanted to listen to fans but said she know it was 25 years since the Valley Party. An odd part of the history to pick up on and as the Valley Party candidate @norman_smith pointed out its 26 years. She knows it's 25 as she tried to stop rick speaking about the BP at last year's POTY.

Foley was a polite guy looking smart in his charlton suit and tie but no reason for him to be there and he moved faster than I've sen all season when "dismissed" by KM. When he was asked by his employer what he thought of the club he unsurprisingly said it was a great set up etc etc. Shame Solly wasn't there to ask about Yann.

There are many ways to count the sponsorship income. I've been told that the basic front of shirt deal is lower than Ebbsfleet's but the deal will be tiered and include various bonuses. We didn't have the other kit sponsors in L1 last time as far as I remember.

Similarly they introduced the preferred supplier nonsense, which means more sponsorship income but also higher costs as firms like DJ coaches will claw it back through higher charges.

All these amounts are likely to be trivial in the grand scheme of things and as we know a number of long-term sponsors -Axis, for example - have walked away. I don't think the club will be building that kind of repeat relationship with benefits with Betdaq somehow.

The most important question is when you're going to give your Commerford style ringing endorsement of the regime.

Fielding Foley - or any player - in this situation is pitiful. It shows the way they regard fans as gullible children to be patronised.
Unreal , oh look it's a player in normal clothes in real life ,wow , all is forgiven

    Get out of our club
They (SMT) have no effing idea. We are not your average club, we have a long list of people with a depth of knowledge and experience as to how the club was once run so don't treat us like children ffs, it just adds insult to injury it really does

The fact that Charlton fans are still willing to sit down and talk to them is weird.

This has been done to death. Let's leave it and see what came out of the meeting.

Hopefully the people there yesterday were able to get things off their chest, even if it just came down to telling squirrel face a few truths even though the reply may have been a porky.

I would say when pigs fly but after yesterday...

But I'm not Bromley Addicks and it has to be said that maybe one third to a half of the 33 there were more positive/forgiving than Covered End, me and others.

KM fronted up so credit for that but was clearly getting frustrated at the end as she twice asked "are we going to talk about the past?" To which a certain other poster brilliantly put her down with "past performance is an indicator of future performance".

She really wants to wipe the slate clean and look at the future.

She was then asked "tell me one initiative of yours that has worked?"

    KM "We got Target20k"

HI "we had that before you came"

    NS "and it was 40k"

KM "we got the kids activities"

HI "We had that before too"

    KM "But I did it"
Except target 20k hasn't worked Katrien. You can't even get 10k.

Yet Data Techniques is all over the alternative shirt.
Katrien Meire seems to love telling lies yet she doesn't even lie with any style or panache, she is a grubby excuse of a liar who gives skilled liars a bad name.

£50m of debt (she didn't challenge or correct that figure given by CE) is OK as the club isn't for sale.

We have "financial stability" so the 50m doesn't matter according to KM.

50m debt is the average for championship clubs she claimed (no idea if this is true) but as was pointed out to her we're in league 1.

This was in response to a question about their stated aim (at VIP meeting) to break even.

KM admitted it was impossible to break even outside the premier league (which I think 98% of people other than KM, David Joyes and Roland realised long ago).

    Thanks for the summaries guys.
