Thought I'd join the OMD love in, though not been too any of the current shows (not a big fan of larger venues) here's a couple of shots I took from the first time I saw them at Hammersmith November 1980.
Think Winston might still have been with them on stage at this time. Seen them many times over the years probably my favourite was in 2013 at the Roundhouse when they were supported by my music hero John Foxx (and the Maths).
Great pictures , i was at the Roundhouse with john Foxx , Also see Foxx at the Garage a couple of years later , such a small Venue for a Artist like him , i was at the bar watching and each time the Bass Synth kicked in bottles and glasses Started to vibrate and move all over the place.

I was at that one too. Just after the second album had been released and Enola Gay got them really well known. I think you're right and Winston was still about, but they had a drummer too.
Went to see Madeline Bell at the Cadagon Hall last night. She was absolutely fantastic…what a voice! She was joined on stage with the original members of Blue Mink. Luckily I went to the after show party and had a chat with her. A lovely lady too.
Saw The Hives at Eventim Apollo last night. Gotta say it’s probably the best gig I’ve ever been to. Wasn’t a massive fan before and went with no real preconceived ideas but f*** me, what an outstanding show. Howlin Pelle oozes charisma and had the audience eating out of his hand. Right size venue too (5000) for them.
Mods Mayday next Sunday at the 229 club. The Chords, Purple Hearts, 9 Below Zero, Squire plus others. My mate's band, The Rage have also got together again for it. Rick Buckler is doing a Q&A.

Black Crowes - haven’t seen them for years, but they were excellent tonight. Plenty of old and new. I was trying to think of how to describe the show - joyous is the best word.

Have a spare ticket if anyone's interested.
The Teenbeats were the best Mod revival band - outshone the others live.
I saw Adrianne Lenker at the Barbican. She's the lead singer of Big Thief, a fabulous band I have seen twice. For her solo tour, she plays solo (surprise, surprise) or accompanied by a pianist and violinist. She is undoubtedly very talented and It was good, but the show never hit any great heights for me. However, the bloke with the deep voice sitting behind me didn't help matters much by singing along with the lyrics for about half the show.
Anyone seeing Editors at Brixton Academy on Thursday? Love Editors and will be so great to be back at my favourite venue.
Great night 9/10. Love Editors, love Brixton Academy.
Was anything significantly different about the venue since reopening? Best venue in London and I am hoping it retains its vibe.
The only difference was on entry (understandable). They had barriers up and you basically had to go right round the block/building to join the end of the queue, presumably to slow the queue and reduce/prevent crushing. You also had to have your ticket on your own phone (once again makes for less confusion on entry).
I got tickets for David Gilmour at the Albert Hall this morning on the pre-sale day. Basically you have to buy his new album or some other merch to qualify for this opportunity. Needless to say I think they are all gone
Teenage Fanclub last week in Toronto - brilliant as ever - but I do miss Gerry Love a spark is missing without him. Next up Beachwood Sparks in LA in July. Have to travel to catch live music these days as Alberta is a music desert.
Took herself to see Kelly Jones to perform his new solo album at the Ally Pally. Lucked out with the seats, there was a no phones policy, with your phone having to go a plastic bag.
Overall, a good night, even if you count the cost at roughly a pound a minute for each of us.
I saw Bruce Springsteen at the Boucher Fields in Belfast last night; he and the band were on top form (when aren’t they?), and it was great to see Nils Lofgren can still spin around and play the guitar at the same time, although not for quite as long as the old days! The crowd loved it; lots of interaction and a great set-list.
Keane at the O2. I'm not their biggest fan, but a night out is better than a night in. I thought they put on a surprisingly excellent show and Tom Chaplin put in a great front man performance and has a superb voice. They are held back by only having 3 or 4 top songs and a few decent songs. If anyone likes them I'd recommend seeing them live. 7/10 due to a lack of strong songs.
Weird one all round. They played a 24 song set in 1hr 25mins which seemed very quick to me. All became clear when my daughter explained that for some unknown reason they played shortened versions of around 10/11 of the songs.
Less said about the main support act (Scene Queen) the better.
just seen Suede live at the Electric Brixton, I thought a great gig although could have gone on longer. Girlfriend not a big fan, wish I'd gone with some else 😂
I think after that comment, you will be in future.
Me & the current Mrs managed to get Liam Gallagher Definitely Maybe 30 years tour tickets for Coop Live in Manchester end of June. We're going to make a long weekend of it, so we booked James for the night before too. Can't wait for these gigs, we used to go to loads of gigs back in the day. Kids put a stop to that!! Fingers crossed the Coop Live Arena stays open now.

New venue who probably want to sack their sound man. Took him at least 3 songs to get the mix right, the band were getting pretty pissed off.
He also cut the second support act (Fiona Lee) off halfway through her last song!
Have a spare ticket if anyone's interested.

CMAT, O2 Kentish Town, the old Town and Country Club.
