I was on the youtube bandwagon long before half of these guys. Wish I carried on with it when my channels started picking up. Would be riding around in an Aston instead of my Fiesta ST perhaps..
5 of these players made a video playing on one of my maps, thinking about it.
She's too busy photographing the crowd, she's not seen one before...
"Hi Uncle Roland, look at these photos. We've really turned things around. Full house and not a single black and white scarf in sight. Please don't sell the club, regards, Daisy.
This is bizarre. Thousands packed into the Valley to watch the kind of game you'd see in the park.
I suppose it's the same every Saturday in SE7...
Haha, except young people can actually relate to these guys. I'm a Charlton fan with a few youtube subscriptions and I know a lot more of the players on this pitch at the moment than the ones that go out there every week.
I was looking at this and thinking what the fuck has happened to our club, but then got to thinking what has happened to the world that shit like this can attract such numbers or interest. Perhaps I'm just missing something.
I get that some of these guys make videos about the kinda stuff young people like but I don't get the appeal of going to watch them play football badly.

I think its great personally, my 12 year old loves this kind of thing, its just the equivalent of a football ground selling out for a pop concert back in the day.
These guys are not try pretend they have any type of footballing ability and the money they have raised for charity on the back of it is incredible, but you can always rely on Charlton life to put a negative spin on everything!
I'm here with my kids . It's incredibly depressing that the stadium is full for this nonsense. First time I've ever sat in the south stand and I'm staggered as to how great The Valley looks from this position. It's very loud too but of the screaming kids variety.
Great pic Beds - the old place looks absolutely stunning in the May sunshine. Got to get it back to this for the proper stuff somehow

Was agreeing with you until the boring CL slagging.
The community trust will have raised loads, some kids had a good time and the club got a pitch hire fee.
But fans are entitled to compare and contrast this to the pitiful "crowds" of the Roland decline.
I've seen some shit over the years at The Valley but this is shocking. 22 players with two left feet .
Reminds me of the game where we named about 7 left backs in the match day squad.
The darkest days of the Luzon dynasty.
Thanks, I was racking my brain to work out who the manager was. All I knew was that it was a shit one, so I couldn't really narrow it down much more than that.

Thank you for explaining, I wasn't being negative just being an old fart who doesn't get this sort of thing. Its obviously proved the value of having a young and forward thinking CEO.

And to be fair, your 12 year old has probably seen a lot better players on the pitch today than if it was at a Charlton home game.

Shows them up for the clusterf*ck they are. Look at what you could have won Roland!

Also here with my boys mentioned coming them coming back but looked at me as if I was mental.
I hope Katie isn't doing any scouting as the football on show is actually worse than normal.
