Two cracking wins in the last two games. Wins away at Shrewsbury and Portsmouth should fill us with confidence that we can get a result over two legs against any team we could potentially face, if we finish the job and get into the top six.
Get the fuck in. Bowyer proving me massively wrong at the moment and I'm loving it. Win and a draw from the last two at least please and I fancy us against anyone in the play offs.
Great result and never really in doaunt, we outfought them and won every 50:50. Huge kudos to Lee Bowyer for turning our season round - proper Charlton and a great away support. Just like the old days....
When we failed to win in three (losing two of those) I thought Bowyer's honeymoon period was over and teams had sussed us out again
These last two games though, it seems Bowyer has learnt to bounce back from a poor few results and in style - Beating a Kenny Jackett side wont have been easy by any means as he's one of the best at this level yet Bowyer made it look easy today - Should have been a few goals ahead even when it went 1-0 (a goal that Ajose has deserved for a good few weeks), and from that we simply controlled the game rather than being pegged back by the Portsmouth pressure.
Amos made some cracking decisions coming for balls and Pearce was immense again at the back.
From the first minute you could see the players were fully up for this, chasing every ball... Knew straight away we stood a chance
Back to Bowyer at the end though; great tactical subs to bring on Dasilva and Marshall for Page and Fosu, neither player who went off was missed which is a sign of a good substitution.
Another fantastic result for Lee Bowyer and his brave men.
Five wins from eight games, the last two victories when the pressure was really on. Well done to our caretaker manager and his players, and well done to all our travelling supporters. Enjoy the evening!
Solid, confident, gutsy and professional performance away from home against a play-off rival. Two huge results this week have propelled us into a great position.
The players fought for themselves, eachother, their manager and their fans. Can't ever ask for any more than that. Credit to every single one of them.
Looks like the pressure has got to Plymouth and our result today has piled more on them. They may well need to win all of their four remaining games to be in with a shout.

Lord Bowyer's Red and White Army !!
one more win should see us right, surely?
All hinges on what happens for Scunthorpe and Plymouth midweek
Plymouth going to Rochdale though wont be a guarantee nor will their game against Rotherham
Can slowly see them missing out on the Play-Offs and Scunthorpe stealing their place
Really pleased for Ajose - he deserved the goal. Amos was superb towards then end.
Defensively we did so well, got vital blocks in and didn’t do anything stupid.

Still a bit shocked.....
