Brentford bid 4.5m right at the death and we rejected it.

If true, that is absolutely staggering. Duchatelet doesn't have a heart and he doesn't have a (football) brain) so it can't be because he actually wants us to win.  Wtf is going on??!!
My guess is Roland agreed a budget with LB at the start of the window and has since stayed totally out of things. (Probably has not got a clue who we have signed and could not care less anyway).  If so, that budget was a bit more generous than we would have expected, but the credit goes to LB and SG for playing so cannily the cards they were dealt.
His summer MO is exactly that, remember Bowyer sold Josh, to bring in Taylor.   RDs summer MO is sell some early then give the manager a budget.  What happens in January is a diffrent matter.
  • Permits won't be an issue because it's loans apparently
  • I'll be disappointed if we don't get the Brighton pair.
But looking at the bigger picture this has been a very good transfer window.
Would prefer a nice pair of Bristols.

Watching Bowyer's interview from this morning he said he's got an early phone call tomorrow morning to try to get something else over the phone. Must be a free agent - a right back or Harriott?

Both? Would mean leaving one loanee out of the squad every match day.

Which means if they're all fit then one of our loans can't play.

Cullen, Kayal, Hemed, Gallagher, Field and Leko.

I'd say the man left out is likely to be Gallagher.

  • If they loan both today, can they buy one tomorrow?  Its the registration that can't move, not the actual player. Or have I got that wrong?

Law of averages means 1 in 6 are likely to be carrying an injury at any one point in time.
  • Their Fans Forum is already over
Bet their FF is more upbeat than ours!!
  • We are all adults, I’m sure we can wait
    Clearly not.

One is bound to be injured or suspended most weeks...
  • 4 CMs would have to be one of them

Sorry was told if loans, permits don't matter, hope Douch is correct. Not confirmed to me yet although it's possible I'm being ignored
  • I guess the EFL etc have to provide some confirmatory paperwork and, whilst they may have given the nod to clubs that deals are ok, they do not have staff hanging around for the rest of the evening generating that paperwork and will turn it around in the morning.

LDT dropped a clanger - if he knew then what he knows now a FF meeting tonight would have been his easiest gig to date.

hemed is bought, the other is a loan
  • unless we sign Harriot there won;t be a single (senior) specialist winger in the squad.
Good! Evolution has made wingers a life-form doomed to extinction. Mincing, brilliantined show-offs who show up one game in 10 if you are lucky. I despise them.
  • Cawley thinks at least one and probably two were done.

Well they should do, it’s deadline day ffs
  • Iwobi to Everton just announced so still time yet.
