I do think Chuks could lose a bit of weight - that's not to say he is fat, just very muscular and needs to become a bit leaner potentially. But wtf do I know anyway..

Muscle weighs more than fat.
If he was to become 'leaner', he'd have to lose muscle. In Bowyer our specialist coaches we trust.
Loved the tunnel jump pic of Bonne - looks like it meant the world to him and the spirit in the dressing room is going to be worth quite a few points this season.

Aneke to me looks more like a rugby player. Thus he's not lightning quick off the blocks, but once he gets going is very hard to stop!
I thought Bonne did well on Saturday. There was a good little piece on MOTD2 last night about how Jamie Vardy's movement creates so much space for his teammates in dangerous positions. Lyle does that brilliantly for us, and while Bonne is nowhere near that level, his movement potentially makes him more useful to the team than say Hemed, even if his all round game isn't there yet.

(Pedant alert). Nope. 1lb of muscle weighs the same as 1lb of fat. Muscle is however, more dense than fat. 😀
Out of his depth but can't fault his effort and commitment , he's just not good enough atm the jump is too big and he needs a season in league one/two to improve
How can we judge a striker getting the service that Bonne is? He's working hard and making good runs, his strike partner is the most technically gifted player wd have, shame is he appears to lack a football brain.
If we play to our players strengths we will be fine.
Seems like I’m in a bit of a minority but I really like him, fits the mould of being a very good striker with his build and given game time think he’ll be very useful.
Paulie arguing with himself a few posts up tells you all you need to know - reserve judgement. Bonne's doing his best to be a nuisance, wins a few headers, showed a few nice touches - in the first half tonight there was an excellent turn followed by nearly playing in Leko with a nutmeg pass. He was a thorn in Leeds' side on Saturday. He ain't Taylor and not everything is coming off for him, but he's two starts into his Football League career. Just everyone have a bit of patience FFS.
Has one good performance and everyone talks about how good he is and then one slightly below par performance and everyone says he’s out of his depth? Barely got any service all night. Give it a few games at least to judge whether he’s good enough
Still felt he held the ball up well tonight. Didn't get much service and was often the target of lumped long balls. He's not that type of player and is up against bigger defenders. Win more headers than he probably should have.

Arguing with myself?????
I was admitting I was wrong in my comment from when he 1st signed
I'm not writing him off but he does look well off the pace for me. I'm not talking physically. His touch is slow and his timing of heading to win the ball from a goal kicks and crosses is poor. The ball gets stuck at his feet and I've seen very little guile in and around the box.
This is a huge step up for him and still very early days. I trust Gallen and Bowyer implicitly. Just hope he can make the jump.
The thing about Taylor, is that not only is he really good, he makes the players around him better. Either Leko or Bonne would looks so much better alongside Taylor, dragging the defenders around and generally bullying them.
Bonne is a 4th choice striker, it's unfortunate that Hemed is injured/unfit as well as Lyle. All along I've felt that we have too many loan midfielders, I'd happily lose one in January and bring in another attacking option.

Taylor also creates his own opportunities, which none of our other strikers do.
His passing isn’t up to scratch for this level , his general play isn’t it’s too big a jump for him , for now at least we’d all love him to be the oppo centre forward in every game there’s no real threat from him
Of course it’s early days and he may well (fingers crossed ) become mustard but not seen anything to get even the remotest excited about him as a prospect .
Maybe we shouldn’t be allowed to pass a negative opinion until their ten games in , all positive opinions welcome though

Criticism is fine - comments like "clearly out of his depth" are writing him off when he's barely played.

I think people are saying that at this moment in time he’s not up to scratch , that’s not to say he won’t get there in time but for now he’s a no for some .

He hasnt played much but I am already happy to eat Humble Pie.
Early signs show he is Championship ready and I was wrong to be underwhelmed
