    1 in 2
    Update
    1 goal in 2 1/2 games
    1 in 6 this season.

The manager clearly doesn't know much about him if he's playing him up front on his own. Might also explain why they paid a 2 million fee. QPR fans at least starting to realise what kind of player they have bought.

    Or Chuks.

Aneke and Bonne worked well together at times. For some reason Bowyer saw it as either or.
Bowyer never never ever rated Bonne, he couldn't wait to cash in on him.. He only played him because we had no choice.. It was either Bonne or Davison..

He will be back in league one/two within 18 months!

Who decided to sign him then? Gallen? Driesen? Someone else?

    Driesen and Gallen I believe..

From my understanding Bowyer provides a list of the type of player he would like, and Gallen draws up a list, and then they go from there on the signing front.

My mate went to see Maldon & Tiptree play Waltham Abbey. Waltham had three players sent off, so the doors were open for Maldon to record a comfortable 6-0 win. I asked my mate if Bonne scored, thinking how funny it would be if he'd failed in such easy circumstances. Disappointed to hear that he'd scored soon after coming on as sub, I was heartened to hear what he did after that.

One of his team mates had a shot on an open goal. Bonne was standing in an off side position but wasn't, at the time the shot was taken, interfering with play. But he then rushed forward to poke the ball in the net and steal the goal. The lino raised his flag and the rest is history. Stupid sod.

The ref should've realised that Bonne never interferes with play

Is he there to drive the team bus?
  • Not my cup of tea as a person or a footballer, but good luck to him - an amazing opportunity that I don't begrudge him.

No idea on how good or bad Zimbabwe are but I'll be watching on channel 4 tonight.  Zimbabwe 9/1 ... think we might see Salah bag a few ... don't think Bonne will!
  • Amazing to think he scored 11 goals in one season for us, you ungrateful lot!

Bonne came on at half time.

Zimbabwe went from leading 1-0 at half time to losing 2-1 at full time.

Much as people can moan about Bonne, how would we feel if we'd spent £17m on Dominic Solanke only for him to score 5 in 52. Yes the vast majority have been in the PL but he's hardly setting the division alight with 1 from 6 games this season for one of the favourites to go up
This was the last post I'd read on this thread until today.

Solanke must have read @Addick Addict post as from that season he went on to start scoring 15 goals+ almost every season.

Bournemouth have made a huge profit on the £17m they spent on Solanke.
