  • Are numbers for passes sold being released ?
Trying to suss out what the odds are for the Fartnellmobile Rover eh? ;)
Waste of time, it's already got my name on it :):)
  • Superb picture, clearer that normal but the sound was an issue. Fortunately no one else was in the house so could just about hear but it was on max.
  • How long before kick off did coverage start?

    45 minutes
  • Scott was great -  a true Pro and his TV experience shone through. And he is one of our own who loves CAFC. Best tenner I have spent in lockdown - especially as two of us watched it. Well done everyone involved.
  • The only problem I've had with today's coverage is the volume level - it seems quite low, I've got my TV turned up to previously unknown levels.

Post-match show has been as good as everything else. Nice to have the interview with Jonny Williams and Lord Bowyer and Scotty have just had a brilliant chat.

Overall I'd give today's show 11/10. Very well done to all concerned.
Doing my best Columbo impression: Just one other thing ...

Where was the Red, Red Robin?!

At the risk of sounding like a bit if a sad case I do like hearing RRR to kick off Matchday Live, Charlton Live, players coming out onto the pitch.

Over the years the club had produced a few versions of the "This Is The Valley' video to play on the big screen before kick off; maybe @Ollywozere and his merry chums could put together a new video to act as the opening titles to the Valley Pass broadcast with RRR as the theme tune?

It's not proper Charlton without a bit of Billy Cotton!

Hadn't noticed that. Well spotted. There's a tradition we've kept even through the Duchatalet years. Hopefully a mistake!
  • First stream I’ve bought for a few games. Thought the whole production was excellent. Hats off to all involved. My only issue is the fact that I find the commentary a bit “relentless”. I know Greg and the gang are commentating for radio too so need to be more descriptive that normal but I find it a bit omnipresent. But that’s a relatively minor gripe. Will be interesting to see how it all holds up when the novelty wears off, there is no Sangaard factor, no Bowyer v Johnny aftermath and no seven goal thriller to get us all going. But for now a very promising start and a bonus for all those of us who, for various reasons, won’t be getting out Valley fix in the further with the regularity that we are used to.

Was all the build up on the VP audio commentary part? Can't make Tuesday or watch at home, but will get to listen most of it.

Minto lives in Sheffield,  so a bit of commuting, or maybe he stays with family in Biggin Hill.
Why would he choose to live in Sheffield FFS?
Grey, industrialised, polluted dump for the most part.
That’s really weird if you ask me, especially considering he has the wedge to live almost anywhere in and around Yorkshire if he so wished......but no, he chooses Sheffield of all places. 🤔🤔🤔
I think it's because his club was Rotherham.

I was able to listen to it pn the live audio part of the mobile app whilst I took the dog for a walk this afternoon.
    Excellent,  thanks
  • Okay, I'm in.
    Glad I did.
    And, I may win a car !!!!

  • Valley pass sales?.

I'd love to know where the link is for tomorrows game :)

On Saturday the programme started at 2:15pm with a 45 min pre-game show.

Assuming the same tomorrow evening ...

If they start 45 mins before the match kicks off, it'll begin at 7pm.

If they start it 45 mins before our players get going, it'll begin about 7:35pm.

  • I haven't read any of the posts on here but just wanted to say I think Terry and Greg are doing a really good job. I've listened to some other teams versions of this and ended up watching with the sound off.

In particular I really enjoy Greg's insights. Obviously I don't agree with all of their views but Greg will quite often point out something interesting that you might not notice as a casual viewer about tactics/ player movement etc.

I'm often working at the time and only half watching so I appreciate things being pointed out like; "Charlton have switched to a back 3" or "the oppo full backs are really pushing on" etc etc.

Keep up the good work lads.
  • 1080p really should be an option.
  • Do those of us that purchased the December bundle in November using our cafc cash need a streaming code for tonight’s game as we did for the Wimbledon game on Saturday ?

Think you use the same code don't you for bundles?

MK Dons was on 2 Dec so would have been part of the December bundle but we needed a new code for Wimbledon
  • My sons just told me that tonight’s game is cancelled due to Rovers players having Covid.

For those who had bought this game on valley pass, will it roll onto Saturday?
  • Is it just me or do the endless changing of camera angles get on your nerves.  Almost missed outcome of freekicks as camera was focusiing on player rather than where it was heading.  I do love the pre-match interviews - never watch after the game as never in the mood - don't know why......
  • Garry Nelson is joining Alan Curbishley and Scott Minto in the Studio this weekend.

Would love to see that, the pre match is brilliant. Not going to bother this week, paid for every game since TS took over, but, not fair on the missus and pooch the way I behave watching this lot.
