    Expect us to get deals done very quickly this window once they are in motion.
    Under RD we often had to sit around waiting for players to choose us whilst they waited for better offers etc etc. It’ll probably make this thread a lot less interesting but at least there won’t be transfer sagas dragging on for weeks.

    Im not worried, just a bit merrrrghhh knowing we are going to see a thin striking display tomorrow. It was last week the club said it would he unfair for Davison to start this week....it looks like Davison will be starting this week.

    One alternative option is to play Naby Sarr upfront from the start and play a long ball game.

    I’m sure he is, but this ain’t the environment he should be introduced, it should off the bench when we’re winning no pressure etc.

    I think there will be at least one signing today.

    I also think we dropped out of signing the Blackpool lad and Keen Bryan because we have better lined up.

    If we sign someone today, just because they might not be announced until later doesn’t always mean they weren’t registered in time for tomorrow.

    HE:TN was talking to Steven Gerrard today, could be nothing and totally un Charlton related but there was talk on here about Lyle possibly heading that way?
