At an Extraordinary General Meeting on Tuesday 9 June, EFL Clubs voted on proposals in respect of changes to EFL Regulations in the event season 2019/20 is curtailed.
Proposals were submitted by Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers alongside amendments to an EFL Board proposal which were put forward by Lincoln City, Stevenage and Ipswich Town.
Following a vote on each by all 71 Clubs, it was overwhelmingly agreed (by a majority of all Clubs and a majority in the Championship) to adopt the EFL Board’s proposal into EFL Regulations, which now means the following applies in the event a division curtails its 2019/20 season or it is ended by any other means.
Final divisional placings will be determined on unweighted points per game (if required).
Promotion and relegation should be retained.
Play-Offs will be played in all circumstances but will not be extended (beyond four teams).
Clubs in Leagues One and Two will now meet by division later today to formally determine whether to resume playing the 2019/20 season or opt for curtailment. The Championship Clubs restart their season on 20 June.
I still find it strange though that the EFL is so eager for relegation from League Two yet there has been nothing about promotion from the National Leauge...

I think it probably comes from the top down so no announcements about the National League can be made 'til decisions about relegation from League 2 is sorted. Presumably four teams will go up from League 2 (and just 3 relegated because of Bury) with just the one club going down from League 2 and two promoted from the National League.

Doesnt even appear as though they've come to an agreement about Barrow going up which is surely necessary regardless to put the Football League back to 92 teams

If the EFL decided that there would be no relegation then only Barrow would go up. If one team is relegated then there would have to be a play off on a basis to be decided by the National League. But their hands are tied 'til the League 2 situation is dediced.
Big, big praise for Aneke there by Bowyer. It’s not often you’ll get Bowyer providing that specific detail of praise on a player, especially one who hasn’t played for months. Let’s hope they manage to keep him fit, which he has been for a while now, because I think he could play a big part for us.
Great news on Pagey too. It was always going to be great to see him get through all the training and both games so far. It bodes very well for this run in. I know a lot of people have said negative things, but the important thing is, if he was going to break down again he would’ve done already. So long as the management of their bodies is correct, that the loading and recovery of training is correct, they’ll be fine.
Really excited for different reasons to be honest. We may have lost an important player in the team, but these players enable us to play slightly differently. Having Page, Field, Forster-Caskey, and Aneke would actually force us to play more football, attractive football, than we had been. Furthermore, the warmer weather now suits us.

Wonder what'll happen with their first game as he's not got to self-isolate for 14-days surely?
Unless of course they just get the Assistant-Manager to take charge of the game against Reading as Managers miss games occasionally due to illness
From the government/NHS website:
- Anyone with symptoms must self-isolate for 7 days from when their symptoms started.
- Anyone who does not have symptoms must self-isolate for 14 days from when the first person in your home started having symptoms.
So theoretically he only has to isolate for 7 days.I'm excited for him. If he gets through all 9 games unscathed and plays as well as we know he can, he'll deserve a contract.
