Woke up more angsty about this than I thought I would.

    Huge game.
    I’m nervous already too

Woke up optimistic but also apprehensive. I suppose none of us know how we are going to respond. Also sad Seb is not going to be watching this, or maybe he is. If the players could find an extra few per cent for Seb, what a tribute that would be.
  • I commented earlier in the week it all felt weird what with Covid and all the ridiculous shenanigans. But I woke up this morning read a few posts and yes I agree, nervous as hell.

Was thinking about Seb yesterday and thought it would have been great to have his cardboard cutout taken to every game so he'd still be on the crowd. For me and daughter. It was always a Where's Wally - Seb, moment whenever we got to a game, since she was young and as soon as we spotted him all felt to be on order..

    Me too, feeling nervous.
No idea on the team, but in LB we trust.
In any case, most will get on the pitch at some stage

Woke up this morning feeling fine, I got Charlton on my mind...

    Nervous? Absolutely.

    Excited? You bet I am.

I really believe the players would’ve woken up this morning raring to go. Eating breakfast around about this time now, all just wanting to get out on the pitch and play.

Bring home the so, so important 3 points today boys.

Not sure, someone told me it left Larkfield at 3am on 12th January 2019. Should be with you by the time the season’s over.
  • Charlton is back. I have missed this matchday feeling. Watching the game at my parents and so pleased we can still all watch Charlton play together.

Fancy us to win 2–0. Aneke and Bonne.

At last here we are , I’ve not been this nervous/exited for a match since the play off , something to unite the fans again , something to give us hope , something to make us smile again ....... then 4.45 comes......... Groundhog Day or a new beginning ?

Possibly the worse game of football that will be played this side of lockdown .
Two pony teams scrapping it out but cos we haven’t had any for a while we’ll all look at it with rose tinted at the end and think we’ve still got a chance of staying up despite the result .
    4-1 Hull
Blimey. Just when you thought Oohaah couldn't get more miserable !
Guaranteed that he will slag off the away support.

Edit:of course I should have read the other comments first.

The shame is had we played them before lock down they had both strikers out.  I assume both are back for the game today.

Here is hoping Hull 0- 1 Charlton Ath

Famous last words but its only Tom Eaves and Josh Magennis, our defence should be able to handle them, especially the former

Its Wilks who worries me today and I'll be delighted if Hull dont bother playing him - three of the last four games he's been a thorn in our side

Several other crucial games for us today, it will be fascinating to see how the other teams around us play after the 3 month break

    Boro vs Swansea
    Huddersfield vs Wigan
    Luton vs Preston
    QPR vs Barnsley
    Reading vs Stoke
    WBA vs Birmingham

As if we are going to see a rejuvenation because of the break.
    This is Charlton ffs!
Things like that never happen to us.

Hull to tonk us 3 or 4 nil.

Glad I am not in the squad today. Not my usual self, practically sh*tting myself. Feels more like the last game of the season in the same circumstances rather than 9 games to go. Will try to get a grip by 3pm and hopefully be able to enjoy it.

So glad football and Charlton are back!
