The queue of players waiting to sign is now longer than the traffic queues in Kent.

Sam Field starting for West Brom tonight, so he isn't in London

    Who are the six?

    Matthews
    Lynch
    Watson
    Right Sided CB
    Striker
    Right footed Wideman

Seventh would possibly be a keeper if Dillon leaves.

Thought I’d throw these in here! Good to see we’re being linked to players!!

Think we all know Lynch is signing but EFL Hub is actually pretty accurate and isn’t run by a 16 year old 😂 12k followers which is 11.5k more than me lol
  • Be impressed if Grimsby were able to re-sign Omar Bogle

Would be quite happy with him as another targetman option up top, hasnt worked for him but reckon Bowyer could help

Competing against Grimsby for a player sounds surprising! Not been prolific higher than L2, though could be a useful target man option I suppose.

@harveys_gardener will be delighted we are linked to Bogle, was one of the players he ways mentioned iirc.

Ed. Oh.. he has joined the banned list.

Boyle would maybe thrive with decent service.  Someone like Marcus Maddison would be good

Read somewhere else on here (takeover thread?) that Ben Watson is training with us. It was rumoured last week that we were going to sign him, so maybe he is the raised eyebrow one.

Would be a very good signing this level, but again i'll repeat what everyone else has not like we need another midfielder but i'd be happy he would bring quality and also works hard, a bit of a defensive Nicky Bailey so dont let him on the penalties

He will complete the hat trick of South London clubs if he signs.

Crystal Palace and Charlton are the only South London clubs he's been involved in

I must be going mad - I honestly thought he started at Millwall and then went to Palace.

Heard from a Spurs supporting friend at work, a kid called Jack Roles is going out on loan in league one this season after successful spell at Cambridge last year and we are one of the clubs in for him ( no idea how much substance if any is this).

Seems similar to Bielik. Comfortable on the ball deep and can carry it forward.

definitely  seems a typical Bowyeresque type signing if true.

So to confirm, we can't bring in any players at the moment? and only can do so if we offload players (i.e Phillips)?
  • Jack Wilshere seen walking back to his car. As he drives out of Sparrow's Lane he pulls a calf muscle while accelerating
  • As an aside the decision to bring in a midfielder Levitt to fill the spare space looks a dubious one.

Well Roles has just gone to Burton. So ignore that one.

Maybe he was lined up to us, but the news meant he couldnt hold on any longer.
  • It's one in one out for us now.

When Phillip's goes we will bring in an RB (as we have none). Hopefully we'll keep everyone else.

The above is the best we can ask for now in our current scenario where TS wont do a deal with PE (vs the previous hope of bringing in 7 if the injunction wasnt granted and a takeover happened his window).

Let's pray injuries are kind to us and we are within the chasing pack come the winter window....when an eventual sale may finally happen.
  • nothing to see here - no prospect of any signings sticking around for 3 weeks in the hope of an ownership resolution, so we won't be loaning out any of the young 'first teamers' (as defined by the scandalous muppet show aka EFL)
